Im confused, Itachi was a genius at the shuriken jutsu thingy, so why would he need a to use powers on it. It's unnecessary. That is like saying Sakura used a chakra scapel to cute the apples.

Itachi simply punched or kicked the Boar himself, Shisui wasn't dead yet since Itachi wasn't in that gloomy state he was in after Shisui died and the Uchiha police force confronted him. Sasuke as a genin 1 hit a Bear the same size or bigger than that Boar saving Karin
