Anbu Captain

I'm really curious about the Anbu captain who observed the battle between Hiruzen and Oro. He seemed to know quite a bit about Edo Tensei and how it worked and didn't seem all too surprised beyond the fact he didn't expect it. He was also the one that encouraged the 3rd to begin to fight and seemed more prepared than the 3rd himself. This to me shows a great deal of experience, knowledge, and most likely skill.

Anyone else ever wonder about him?

He was mentioned on Wiki that the same ANBU agent attended the meeting of the next Hokage. It was also said he was the leader or commander of the ANBU division. Manga or maybe databooks haven't comfimed this so I, or Wiki, could be mistaken.

To me, someone like that should surpass most of the shinobi that have been mentioned. I know obviously that they won't show all of the higher level shinobi but still, I'm pretty curious
