Analysis of Juubito's spee. It may be more OP than you thought

Alright. We all know that Juubito's ridiculously fast, but one wonders how fast. I might have found a way to get a general idea of how fast he is in actual units. Take a look at this.

He manages to dash toward Sasuke and grab him before he can even form an incomplete susanoo from his ribcage susanoo.

Itachi managed to form susanoo right before being struck by lightning.

If Sasuke's susanoo start up speed is anything near Itachi's then that means Juubito is FASTER THAN LIGHTNING! I know Juubito was closer than Kirin was to Itachi, but Kirin wasn't fast enough and this is an estimate.


The next question everyone will have it "how fast is lightning?" According to wiki answers, typical lightning travels at 224,000 miles per hour, or, 3,700 miles per second.

Here's some examples on how fast it is. The speed of light is 186,000 miles per second. Lightning is roughly 1/50th of the speed of light.


The speed of sound is 768 miles per hour. Lighting is, if we use estimates due to significant figures, 292 times the speed of sound.


This means that Obito is likely to now be moving faster than 292 times the speed of sound as of now. That's some OP speed!

Whoops. However, he couldn't even complete it though. I think Sasuke would have if he could.

Sasuke didn't attempt to complete it. Obito Blitz him so fast he didn't even realize it. He couldn't even move his arms before it happened. The strange thing is how their heads survived such a speed and strength combination. They should have been taken clean off.

That falls into the point of the OP. Itachi could react and form a susanoo when lightning stuck him. Unless Sasuke's completely outclassed in that regard, Juubito must be moving about the speed of light or higher. Remember, despite Juubito's speed, he can be predicted by sharingan. Sasuke can predict his movements, and he still couldn't put up susanoo.

He slowed down just to grab their heads which in a way is a plot shield because tobi and hashi both were ripped apart when he done that

I don't see why Sasuke can make a ribcage instantly, but isn't able to make the rest of the parts instantly.

I don't think we can measure Juubito's speed, he is easily the fastest character in the manga.

Edit: But I think that Sasuke started putting his Susanoo up before Juubito started moving, so he probably either shattered it with either strength or speed alone, cause an object moving fast enough can break anything.

For instance after tornadoes, straw is sometimes found going clean through fences.
