No, she would form the dragon around her and flow with it on course as per Icelerate's explanation. It's similar to the way Kisame rode his water shark towards the outskirts of Turtle Island. The water dragon was shot at Madara when he was facing it directly, so I don't know why you think that the bolded would happen.

Madara upgraded his susanoo above ribcage so no it wasn't tanked by ribcage. I agree that her suiton are the most deadly attacks considering their AoE, speed and range surpasses her lava release.

No Mei controls what the dragon does and she can form it around her if she is at the epicentre of the water pillar. Madara got attacked because Mei controlled her water dragon to do so. Kisame was able to ride his water sharks and can do the same thing so you should accept it unless you want me to start underrating Kisame.

Congrats for making such a thorough analysis. Must have taken forever lol. But regarding mei, yes she is a beast in terms of both skill and appearance haha. I would have liked to see more from her in the series. Like how she became Mizukage for example.

I have heard a lot of people saying that Sakura > Mei. I personally believe Mei is much more diverse and just because she had lesser panel time, her potential should not be underrated.

I think Mei beats Sakura with low difficulty now even though previously I thought Sakura could beat her with mid-high difficulty. Thanks to seeing Tsunade in action, Mei knows all about Sakura whereas Sakura doesn't know what Mei can do. All Mei has to do is launch Sakura up with water pillar and while Sakura is in midair, she gets ripped apart by a water dragon whose teeth should produce more penetrative force than a

Ground punch is countered by launching water from underneath Sakura. Can't punch the ground when there is water all around and below you. Sakura never tanked getting drenched in acid. She evaded it and only got grazed by mere droplet splashes. Regardless she expressed extreme discomfort (

It's useful b/c it protects her from attacks below while being able to manipulate the preexisting water instantly to shield herself from attacks or create another water technique. It's actually a lot larger than 30% Kisame's technique you showed. As a matter of fact, I don't think Kisame's technique is as large as Madara's, let alone Mei's water pillar.

I realize these take a lot of time to make, but it'd be simply awesome if you or any of the more experienced Unorthodox members make weekly threads highlighting a character's capabilities. Last time it was Ghost in the Shell and his Darui thread. I really enjoy reading them, and agree fully with -Xlad-.

Yes I agree she wrecks those two individually. I don't know who the strongest she can defeat but she can beat Hebi Sasuke, Sakura, Tsunade, 4th Kazekage, old Hiruzen and Sasori. She's mid kage level IMO.

that Madara used is larger than the katon he used against Tsunade but even then it doesn't surpass Mei's water pillar and that katon he used against the fodder suiton users had a wider range than the portion of Kisame's tech I showed so I guess that Mei's water pillar is bigger by a comfortable margin.

What stops Sakura from increasing her speed with chakra and engaging in CQC. Tire her out and land a good strike.
