An observation

Hello

So, watching through some Naruto Abridged, I suddenly realized that Orochimaru's sword, the one he uses to stab Hiruzen, has a very, very interesting piece of jewelry on its hilt.

It looks precisely like the tomoes on the Sharingan - and the symbols on the Sage of the Six Paths's cloak.

I could also have sworn that he wore earrings at one point of the same design.

Does this mean anything or am I just overthinking it?

Also, before you ask, yes, I would love to upload pictures, but I can't for some reason. It never works for me.

While that is true, wouldn't he logically be more interested in the Rinnegan? The Doujutsu of legend? Maybe the reason he wanted the Sharingan was because he wanted the Rinnegan.

Maybe Orochimaru, that sneaky bastard, knew more about the Sage than everybody thought.

I'm just speculating though, of course.

Thank you for posting that pic. Well then, that is an interesting coincidence, even if it doesn't mean anything whatsoever.

And I agree. I never liked Kabuto and I can't say I like Tobi's style either. Orochimaru was just so...I don't know, appealing as a villain.

I wonder why he was obsessed with the Sharingan when he was standing next to someone with the Rinnegan...

i just.. got a feeling oro will slowly take over kabutos body and rise up again like a pro he is xd he truly was/is a genius... i hope he will return.

all of that was the culmination of oro's research , which he undoubtedly planned to use on himself once he got a body that could handle senjutsu, kabuto just took everything oro worked on for years and shot up like a jutsu junkie

as for the tomoe relations, knowing oro they definitely were related in some way, maybe it will be revealed on that scroll suigetsu found
