An interesting theory i've not seen before

Well, we all know that Sasuke and Naruto are on deaths door, and people have been saying that Naruto will survive due to him getting the other half of Kurama's chakra. But consider this.

Both Naruto and Sasuke pass into the afterlife and they meet the Sage of Six paths. He gives Sasuke the eyes of the sage and Naruto the body of the sage, or something similar to what happened with the Senju and Uchiha separation. He could then bring them back to life, and with there new found power ups they could defeat Madara.

Other than this, i dont see any legit way for Sasuke or Naruto to get a power up.

I've seen that multiple times here and it's just plain rediculous..
Naruto will become pseudo juuruto
Sasuke will survive because of hashirama's chakra.. and possibly awake either rinnegan or elders son eyes due to his near dead experience.

Well, i wouldn't be surprised if in the next chapter, the first panel is Sasuke and Naruto opening their eyes in a new void, with the Sage of Six Paths standing in front of them.

Why would the SO6P bring them bcak to life but not himself?

That's what makes the story interesting. If you how they would get power up, you would have stopped reading by now.

Naruto will get some power up that will again alter his appearance and with sasuke he might unlock the rinnegan due to the senju chakra/DNA. Either way both are going to become not the so6p but the sons of so6p

I didn't say the story wasn't interesting, i just think Sasuke and Naruto need a power up to defeat Madara and i can't figure out a way for them to get one, without the obvious. (Sasuke getting the 1st chakra, and Naruto getting Kurama pt 2)

Naruto got to meet his mother Kushina BECAUSE Kushina's chakra was sealed inside the seal

I have a stretchy one. Sasuke has Hashirama's Chakra, and as Sasuke now has chakra from both descendants of the Sage, he might meet Naruto after opening the death door.

Well i have'nt seen anyone mention the possibilty that Minato could have foreseen "another" Kyuubi extraction..
We all should know that Naruto's seal is a special one that no other jin has had before.
So could it be that he had designed a fail-safe into it to protect Naruto from death?

I don't think it's impossible for Naruto and Sasuke to start crossing over, and to meet people when they arrive. I don't think they can bring anything back with them. It's just spirit stuff on the other side, not something physical that they can keep when their spirits come back. Knowledge could come back, but power or eyes couldn't.

Far more likely, I think, is Naruto and Sasuke somehow using each other to gain power: Naruto gets Uzumaki power from Sasuke, and Sasuke gets Senju/Uzumaki power from Naruto, and both gain the power to survive their wounds. I don't see how this is possible with Gaara taking Naruto away as fast as he can, but it seems the most likely scenario in my mind for the two boys to get powerups.

In terms of raw survival, that's a different story. Gaara seems to be taking Naruto to the big God Tree, which suggests that there may be some way for Naruto to gain enough power from the tree to stay alive. Maybe there's a fruit to be eaten? Maybe Gaara will be able to channel chakra from the tree to Naruto, or use the tree in a similar way to how Madara used the Hashirama Lotus to keep himself alive.

For Sasuke, I imagine that something would have to happen with Juugo/Orochimar/Karin to bring him back to life. Or else, and this is less likely in my opinion, Sasuke is somehow able to use Hashirama's healing powers now that Hashirama has given power to him. Also, there's always the option that Sasuke can use Izanagi, especially if he has some Hashirama power to expand the technique and maybe save his eye (without a second eye, Sasuke's battle power decreases significantly, and he wouldn't stand up to Madara anymore).

1. Power is not a tangible thing you can touch. Things of the "spirit" are intangible and cannot be touched or destroyed but their effects can be witnessed through "reality". You can argue the eyes...but even the doujutsu in this story is based on chakra...which is partly based on "spiritual energy"...
