Both Hiruzen and Danzo were best friends and at the same time mortal enemies(much like naruto and sasuke mind you)
One represents the light and the other the darkness
Hiruzen died from his greatest mistake(Orochimaru) and was fatally wounded by his sword, and went on to take his own life in order to take Orochimaru's life as well, but failed
Hiruzen saw someone from his past who were deceased(Hashirama and Tobirama)
note: Orochimaru has senju DNA
Danzo died form his greatest mistake(Uchiha Massacre/Sasuke/leaving him alive) and was fatally wounded by his sword, and went on to take his life on oder to take Sasuke's life as well, but failed
Danzo also saw someone from his past who was deceased(Itachi)
note:Sasuke is an Uchiha
They died similar deaths, from their greatest mistake, but a reverse version of them.....one was killed who wielded the power of the senju and the other by an Uchiha
Idk I thought it was an interesting contrast between Hiruzen and Danzo
