The Land of Iron was a relitivly strong land, consisting of many powerful villages with increadable ninja. This small land wasn't exactly feared, but other villages knew better than to attack it. Not only was the Inferkage an indestructable force, who was given the forbidden scroll of the Sword Village by the Kenkage so he could perfect his jutsu, but they also had Zech of the Acid, a powerful foe whom no one wanted to tagle with. The four other ninja villages in the Land of Iron were prosperious and powerful as well, but not to the extent of the Inferno and Acid villages. The land was peaceful for many years, staying as neutral as possible, until one day, a threat came to the Inferno Village.
Messenger 1: Inferkage-sama!
Zyphron: Yes?
Messenger 1: There is someone here to see you.
Gryden: Zyphron!
Zyphron: Gryden! How's it going!?
Gryden: Not good; that's why I'm here.
Zyphron: Hm?
Gryden: Someone's trying to conquer the Land of Iron, and so far, it's going bad.
Zyphron: WHAT!?
Whenever Zyphron got angry, his eye's flared chakra-blue, and his eye's were practiacally glowing.
Gryden: He destroyed the Village Hidden in the Sky, and the Village Hidden in Mirage. He was about to desolate my village when-
Zyphron: Christyn!
Gryden: She's- I'll let you figure that out-
Zyphron: IS SHE ALRIGHT, GRYDEN!?!?!
Gryden: She's not dead or in pain, the rest you can find out, now listen! He came by my village to conquer it, but I was able to speak to him beforehand. He told me that if I could get you to meet him at the Village Hidden in Acid, he would leave me, and the rest of the villages, be.
Zyphron was silent for a moment.
Zyphron: What about Zech? Is he okay!?
Gryden: Let's just say, he's doing just as well as Christyn. And Sora, in case you were wondering.
Zyphron: Alright.
There was a small explosion of chakra as Zyphron activated his jutsu.
Zyphron: This, is personal!
After making the two day trek to the Village Hidden in Acid, Zyphron finally arrived. The village was separated from the rest of land by a mile-long moat that surrounded the entire village, filled with Zech's signature acid jutsu. He looked from left to right, searching for his opposer.
???: Hello, Inferkage.
Zyphron span around, and saw, to his surprise, Zech, standing before him.
Zyphron: ZECH! You can help me! Gryden told me about this guy-
Zech: I know.
Zech was emotionally detached in his words, and it was starting to freak out Zyphron.
Zyphron: Zech, what's wrong?
Zech: If you haven't guessed already, I am the one who leveled the Village Hidden in the Sky, and Mirage-
Zyphron: What-? WHAT DID YOU DO TO CHRISTYN!?!?!?
Zech: Christyn's fine. So is Sora. You have been called here to fight me; and a real fight this time, none of this, whatever happened last time, buisness.
Zyphron: You mean my jutsu? The only person who can deactivate it is myself, trust me, I've read the manuel.
Zech: That may be so,
Zech shifted his robe, revealing a metal slot on his chest.
Zyphron: What the-?
Zech: but I've got something that can defeat it.
Zech pulled out a card and shoved it into the metal slot on his chest. The slot glowed white, and the glow spread to the rest of his body, and when it faded, he looked like Sora.
Zyphron: Zech?
Zech: Wouldn't you prefere to call me Sora?
Zech's voice was a mixture of his own and Sora's.
Zyphron: NO!
Zyphron propelled himself down to Zech, stabbing him through the heart as he did so. Zech fell backwards, the card comming out of his chest and shattering, returning him to his normal form, unscathed.
Zech: This was a jutsu I had devised for you, when you couldn't use chakra. It allows you to collect the DNA of ninja, turn it into a card form, and allows you to take their form, and their powers.
Zyphron: That's sick! Why would you do that!?
Zech: For the power it gives you.
Zech pulled out a stack of cards, ready to put them into his chest slot.
Zyphron: NO!
Zyphron's sword was pulled out and slashed through the air, releasing a powerful chakra wave into the air, in seconds, cutting through the stack of cards, and nearly Zech's hand.
Zech: I expected you to do that.
There was a sound behind Zyphron.
Zech: Which is where my second jutsu I made for you comes into play.
Someone grabbed Zyphron from behind, trapping him. Zyphron was about to blast off his attacker, when Zech spoke.
Zech: Look at your attacker, before you attack yourself.
Zyphron turned his head and saw, to his horror, Sora standing behind him, binding his limbs.
Zyphron: A mind-control jutsu as well!?
Zech: Not quite.
Sora(Zech): I'm merely a puppet of a body, having a third of Zech's soul within an otherwise empty body. I have all of my previous powers, as well as Zech's. But despite this, I am all Zech; Sora is no more.
Once again, the voice of the body, and the voice of the soul, were one. Zyphron heard Zech, and Sora in the speach.
Zyphron: WHAT!?
Zech: Don't worry, his soul is trapped forever in an object where it can be retransfered back into his body, pushing my soul out and back into mine.
Zyphron: But still! You expected me to actually USE this jutsu!?!?
???(Zech): I expected you to do whatever it took to be a ninja.
Zyphron sat, wide-eyed, as a figure emerged from the shadows.
Zyphron: I should've guessed that you would've done something like this, you B******!!!!!!
Zyphron let loose a blast of chakra, nearly disintigrating Sora's body. He ran up to Zech, and was about to destroy him, when his second body jumped in front of him, making Zyphron stop in his tracks.
Zyphron: You b******!
Christyn(Zech): I know.
Zyphron felt a chakra source behind him, and span around, blasting Sora for a second time.
Christyn(Zech): We regenerate, Zy, you can't destroy us.
Zyphron: I'm going to kill you for this, Zech.
Christyn's voice was altered so all Zyphron heard was her.
Christyn(Zech): But Zyphron, don't you get it? I love Zech, now.
Zyphron sood, motionless, unable to comprehend that it was Zech speaking, and not Christyn.
Zyphron: Chri- Christyn?
Christyn(Zech): I love him, and you can't change that, Zyphron. I'll sacrifice my own life to keep him safe, and kill you.
Zyphron's world collapsed. He was so unaware of what was going on, he couldn't tell that 'Christyn' was trying to put him under a genjutsu, or that 'Sora' was trying to raise him into the sky. Then 'Sora' rose into the sky, the earth benearth Zyphron, taking him into the sky. 'Christyn's word echoed through his head, and he didn't notice Zech becomming Gryden, or Zech using Teraforming to try and crush him. The earth pillars collapsed in upon themselves, and Zypron got back his fury.
..... Zyphron smashed through the earth beneath him, and fell to the ground below, creating a crater large enough to 'kill' 'Sora', 'Christyn', and Zech (as Gryden). The puppets regenerated, and Zech became himself, and the three let loose an acid barrage. The acid began to corrode Zyphron's shield, but he propelled hismelf out, and landed behind 'Sora'. He used his Explosive Draining Punch on him, draining all of 'Sora's chakra. A piece of 'Sora's body fell into the acid pool beside him, and it drained chakra from that to regenerate himself.
Sora(Zech): You can't kill us, Zy.
Christyn(Zech): It's impossible.
Christyn's voice returned to the normal half-and-half, as Zyphron didn't care anymore.
Zech: Well, isn't this nice, eh Zyphron? You fighting against your best friend, your girlfriend, and Sora.
Zyphron: I'm going to kill you, Zech. Just you watch!
Zyphron ran forewards, ripping off 'Sora's and 'Christyn's heads as he went. Then, he got to Zech, and punched him in the stomache. Then he jumped then the air and let loose a blast of chakra onto Zech, blasting him ten feet into the ground. As he was getting out, 'Sora' preoccupied Zyphron, and 'Christyn' punched him closer, and closer to the river of acid (these punches were more like soft pushes to Zyphron). When he was less than a foot from the river, he blasted 'Christyn', leaving himself open to 'Sora', who pushed him into the river, and Zyphron sank.
..... Zyphron sank like a stone, the acid wearing away at his shield. Zyphron floated lazily to the bottom of the river, the acid nearly through his shield.
Zyphron(To himself): I guess this is it. I've lost to Zech. Sora and Christyn are lost forever-
Zyphron remembered what Zech had said about holding onto Sora's soul.
Zyphron: I STILL HAVE A CHANCE!
Zyphron touched down on the bottom of the moat, and let a massive source of chakra explode. The explosion created invisible walls, keeping the acidic poison away.
Zech: What the-?
Zyphron leapt out of the moat, and ran at Zech, holding him by the throat.
Zyphron: WHERE IS IT!?!?!?
Zech: I don't know what you mean.
Zyphron: HER SOUL!!!! WHERE'S CHRISTYN'S SOUL!?!?!?
Zech: Ah.
Zech produced, from behind his back, two orbs with swirling, white, auras inside.
Zech: Inside one of these, is Christyn's soul. Inside the other, Sora's. The only one who can tell the difference is the one who did the extraction, a.k.a., me. If you ever want to see Christyn as Christyn again, you have to pick the right one, and the other one will be destroyed.
Zyphron: You want me to GAMBLE MY LOVE AWAY!?!?
Zech: Well, I've already seen you fight her, so, yes.
Christyn: ZYPHRON!
Zyphron: What!?
Zyphron tunred around, but saw that the puppets were too far away from 'Christyn' to sound so close.
Christyn: Zyphron, down here!
Zyphron looked down at the orbs holding Christyn's and Sora's souls.
Zyphron: Chrsityn?
Zech: You've decided?
Zyphron: I can hear here, can't you?
Zech: When people are stressed like this, they hallucinate.
Zech(To himself): Their bond is so strong, he can actually HEAR her!?!?
Zyphron: This one's...
Zyphron began to put his hand over the orb in Zech's left hand.
Christyn: NO! That's not me! I'm the other one!
Zyphron forced chakra through the orb, shattering it.
Zyphron: Not her.
Zech: Good job.
Zech threw it into the air, and 'Christyn' turned to watch the orb fly.
Zech: But I'm not letting you win that easily.
Zyphron: B******!!!!!
Zyphron punched Zech in the gut, his puppets not even trying to stop him, crushing his card slot. Then he pounded Zech in the face a few times, letting loose a blast of chakra each time, and jumped up to catch Christyn's soul.
Zyphron: You lose, Zech.
Zech rose to his full height, his puppets falling limp behind Zyphron.
Zyphron(To himself): Not a good sign.
Zech: Foolish human!
Zech's voice was of Sora's, Christyn's and his own, times three over. This voice was even more impressive and intimidating than Zyphron's.
Zyphron: Whoa.
Zech: I'll kill you, and shatter her soul as well!
Zech let loose a blast of the chakra Sora used for flight, the raw chakra Christyn would've channeled into a genjutsu, and his own chakra into a massive wave of acidic poison. The tidal wave crashed into Zyphron, using his own chakra to create a part in the wave, saving his life. As the wave came down, Zyphron thought through every possible way to beat the all-powerful Zech.
Zyphron(To himself): There's only one thing I can do. 'That' jutsu! It's all I've got left that he hasn't seen, and it's all I can do to beat him forever, and I'm not entierly sure about that!
The wave dissapaited, and Zyphron was in the air, absorbing as much chakra as he could.
Zech: I read the scroll before I left the village; I know about your 'Absolute Chakra Absorbtion', and how to counter it!
Then Zyphron spoke, his voice laced with power.
Zyphron: THEN IT'S A GOOD THING I'M NOT USING THAT JUTSU! ULTIMATE MASSIVE CHAKRA WAVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Zyphron literally exploded with a massive blast of chakra. This chakra leveled the Acid Village next to him, and melted the puppet bodies. Zech lasted longer due to his increased power, but the chakra eventually tore the skin straight off of his bones. Zyphron fell down to the ground, which was about a hundred miles lower than normal due to the massive crater he made. Zyphron was unconcious, and that jutsu completely wipped his mind of all memories, except for the last, powerful thing on his mind. Christyn...
..... He would later be found and taken away, cared for by professional medical ninja, and revived. Then, he hid himself away, constantly looking for the orb which held his ture loves soul, and never giving up the search. Year and years passed, and Zyphron grew weaker and weaker due to overuse of his jutsu, which he found the scroll to, once one of his ANBU found him outside his village and did his best to jog his memory. He eventually had to sleep for five years at a time to keep his energy up, and all those five years, he worried that someone would shatter, or collect Christyn's soul. Year and years went by, and because of his jutsu, which kept germs, and anything else that may kill him, out, he lived from before the birth of the first Hokage to the fourth great ninja war, never once getting close to finding Christyn. All of his friends who survived died of natural causes, and the Land of Iron was later taken into the custody of Mifune, and everything was the way it is known to be. And Zyphron wouldn't be seen for a relativly long time since his conversation with Naruto, even though he was despretly needed...
