Kaguya used IT before. Meaning, for the large-scale version, the moon had to exist.


Do you know what this means? It means the original moon was destroyed by Hagoromo and Haruma. Kaguya wouldn't destroy something that established her hold over people. So, at least in joint efforts, Hagoromo and Haruma were moon busters!


Also, in case you're confused on how PS was destroyed this chapter, I think Kaguya had a chakra explosion.

She just used IT with a smaller radius, unlike Madara's IT. He was the first who casted it on the whole world.

Otherwise why should Kaguya use IT ? When nobody in the world besides Hamura and Hagoromo had chakra....?
Why the hell they should destroy the moon when...Hagormo should be able to break that Genjutsu ?
