An idea that Sasuke could use to power up Sarada.

I thought about this idea of a way to get Uchihas to awaken the mangekyou sharingan without anyone actually dying.

Lets say that Sarada and Himawari become best friends. What if one day, unbeknownst to Sarada, Sasuke is secretly following her and spying on her as she is walking home from school with Himawari. He then uses rinnegan genjutsu on Sarada to make her see some random rogue ninjas pop up and kill Himawari. Since Sarada wouldn't know that it was a genjutsu, she'd really think that Himawari had been killed. Filled with sadness and anguish, Sarada would awaken the mangekyou sharingan. Sasuke would then release the genjutsu and explain to her the process and his reasons.

Then, to protect her from blindness, this is where Sakura would come in. Sasuke could have Sakura inject some Senju DNA into Sarada. Of course she won't get rinnegan because she is not Indra's transmigrant, but it does seem that Senju DNA plus mangekyou sharingan equals mangekyou sharingan without blindness (as shown by Obito).

it's been proven that things like that wont happen , back at uchiha's massacre . Itachi put sasuke in a genjutsu, sasuke saw his parents dead , but he dint awake anything . so wont happen.

Of course this thread is assuming that Sasuke does this at a point when Sarada already has standard sharingan.

That makes no sense. Powering up one Uchiha would not make an army. He'd be trying to make an army if he continually had Sakura start popping out babies and then he powered them up.

I don't see it as an act of aggression. I just see it as a gift. After all, Sarada is in the academy. This means that she is training to be a shinobi. Shinobis get put into dangerous situations sometimes. Mangekyou sharingan could be a lifesaver.

Or it could be that she inherits some of Sasuke's chakra like Hagoromo's sons did. Who knows, she could be like Indra, and possibly could get MS with mere talent. The whole emotion thing may have been a downgrade from Indra you know, like MS blinding people.

So you guys are telling me that if your child had the potential to awaken an extremely beneficial genetic trait, and you had the ability to awaken that trait without causing them too much pain (remember that she'd find out that her friend was fine right afterwards), that you would not help them awaken this trait that could save their life one day?

The clan was already dead before Itachi put him under that genjutsu. He didn't awaken it until Itachi put him under that genjutsu and he fainted. Therefore it was the genjutsu, as he did not witness the real thing taking place.

It is effectively the same as getting a shot at the doctor's office. Brief pain in exchange for immunity to disease. It is the same concept here. Brief pain in exchange for something that could have both practical and battle applications, especially if she gets something like Kamui which would be useful even in the real life of a normal civilian. Remember, right after the genjutsu, Sasuke would reveal that it was only an illusion. Therefore, the pain would be brief and nobody would be dead.

No, Sasuke fainted after the genjutsu. When he woke up, he awakened sharingan. Even if I turn out to be wrong about this, things probably work differently before you actually awaken standard sharingan. The bottom line is this:

Sarada would still feel the pain, which would make that special chakara in the brain activate, and she could possibly awaken something.
