An IDEA: How did Obito survive

I was thinking about these Obito - Tobi theories and came to this thing. We know that Uchihas progress their sharingan abilities while being in a intenste stress, emotional pressure or - and this is the most "powerful" way - in the near-death experience.

This is I think what happened to Obito. When Kakashi and Rin left him he experiened near-death, which caused his sharingan (the right one - we didnt see it crashed) to evolve early and grant him power to survive the rock slide - it made him intangible + could warp himself just a bit away from the rocks.

Then he spent many years recovering his body wounds - which he was never successful in. That's why Tobi doesn't use taijutsu much and relies on the time-space, his physical body is just not in a shape to be stressed.

Here is the theory he spent some long time in his "time-space warp dimension" where time can actually pass slower than in reality. He could have got older and stronger in much less time.

+ Kakashi's sharingan abilities are just too similar, just on a lower scale because he's not an uchiha I guess.



It's my first thread and sorry if this has been posted and thought of before.

I don't know why he would hate Uchihas. That's what has to be discovered yet.
In the thread I only give my opinion on how Obito could have survived and be this old and skilled. That's it.

By the looks of it madara didnt die after the fight with hashi so maybe he met obito and put zetsu dna in him to help him survive being crushed. Which is why his body is weird like after minato hit him whit rasengan his arm fell off. just brainstorming xd

Yes. I got this feeling that Tobi's physical body is somehow unstable and unable to endure any strain. That could be the result of being crushed under the rocks.

Well we didnt see he's sharingan getting crashed WITH HALF/FULL of he's body yeah, but i don't think little boy's body could last 1000kg of boulders. There is no way in hell he could just warp away when he is half dead/dead to warp anywhere. TOBI aint obito, i don't think that getting crushed by boulders would make him hate uchiha clan+konoha lol xd

This actually could be interestingly possible..but I'm not sure. I love to keep open minds and I love the Tobito theories, it would be amazing if Tobi was Obito to troll everyone who supremely hates on this theory every chance they get lol.

So I don't know if this would be the way Tobi is Obito and how he survived exactly, but I've never thought of this before and he was 13 at the time. I like it tbh. Itachi unlocked his MS at that age IIRC, right? It's not unheard of and the OP gives good support in its favor assuming Tobi was Obito.

Although this would disprove the popular "When Alive Obito got his MS some time during the Time Skip, that's when Kakashi's awakened".

I'm not sure why people are discrediting this like there's no way Obito survived or this is possible since people have lived through worse, but alright

My theory

Here's my theory obito's near death experience enabled him to unlock his ability to become intangible and pass through solid objects and barely makes it out alive from the underground cave with the right side of his body half crushed. Right after this he encountered Zetsu who meets this young boy with special eye powers and saves him.

I belive Zetsu is some sort of creation by madara “The way I see it is that, when madara was dying he activated the rinnegan, and let’s zetsu take the rinnengan from him, along with the harashima cells, and also some of madara's own DNA. He then tells zetsu implant all of these things into a piece of zetsu body, like a big enough chunk to make a body, hence developing a second madara. That had all his memories (or possibly he could of extracted his entire brain?) and shit.”

And later infused this body with obito who he found because he needed the body of an uchiha and this was he’s perfect chance because the uchiha’s were all still alive and he didn’t want to engage into combat.
Now what if zetsu before meeting obito implanted the rinnegan into an uzumaki child (nagato). So he could get the Sage Body |Sage Eyes sort of thing in order to study it abilities and then later when this uzumaki child was powerful enough revive madara in his prime.

But as this uzumaki got older and stronger zetsu knows he wouldn’t be able to guide and control this child anymore, which is why he needed an uchiha body to put madara’s dna, memories and harashima cells into. Which he later did when he lucky found this defenceless boy with special eye power.. Obito.

Genjutsu, being influenced or similar. We saw what 'Tobi' did to Sasuke right, well Tobi/Obito/Whoever obviously was in cohorts with the real Madara at some point

Quote from another thread showing my anger with why everyone is acting like there has never been a time in any manga anime moive where someone seems to be dead but survived somehow.

It was even in the last naruto moive for crying out loud (that guy who was impersonating naruto was thought to be dead) it's a common story twist.
