It's probably realted to his MS Techs. If itachi went and Sealed Madara instead of fighting Kabuto then the War would be over once Obito was defeated. Not really seeing your point lol

Other than Itachi, I haven't seen a single "weaker" person able to take on a stronger person due to their vast experience, because in this manga, experience almost always grants power. I haven't seen many people with vast power but no experience to back it. Hell, it took a team of 4 shinobi with nearly 50 years of experience combined between them to take on a single woman with literally no battle experience but a shitload of power.

Aside from Itachi, Power always trumps Experience.

Did you watch the fight. Sasuke was caught, and instead of engulfing sasuke in amaterasu he simply closed his eyes, as to prolong the fight.

No. This thread isn't just about Sasuke and Itachi.

Itachi as a 3T Expert could still give MS Sasuke (an MS amateur) a run for his money. Another example is a 3T obito who could still give MS Kakashi a hard time. Your expertice with the 3T can determine alot in a fight against an MS user. For example, Even though Itachi was an advaanced MS user Sasuke's expertice with the Sharingan aided him in breaking Tsukuyomi, a MS technique

That is true but regarding Itachi it wasnt just his eyes that were great.

Think of how good Sasuke is...now think BETTER. Thats Itachi.

Being Itachi's mentor doesn't make him the better genjutsu user, that's like saying Kakashi is a better lightning user than Sasuke. The fact is Shisui was only feared for his KA while Itachi was feared for his overall ability.

No. You can't even become an expert with a Sharingan. You get the same level of sight and prediction as anyone else. There's nothing to improve on, while the Mangekyou Sharingan has been proven to be able to adapt it's sight to follow ten-tails hosts and gives you multiple abilities. If a Mangekyou Sharingan user loses it's simply because of the rest of their arsenal, not because of their eyes.

I doubt Itachi was making a selfish statement.

The things is, in the end the person with the greater skill always remains the winner. Naruto and Sasuke were more skilled and battle experience than Kaguya for example. Not saying their powerups didn't help or their vast power wasn't a plus but most of it came from strategical methods that made them win in the end. If you look at it from that point of view you'll realize that's what determines the outcome of most battles.

Ok I can see what you are saying. But the stronger the eyes are the greater the chances of it breaking Itachi's genjutsu are. He himself said that only a Sharingan and a KKG can stop his tsukuyomi which was unfold when Sasuke broke out of it

Doesn't necessarily mean Amaterasu though, and it wouldn't have been easy. It's also important to note that is only Obito's perspective, not gospel truth. It's well-known that Kishimoto uses very realistic character perspective, i.e. characters make judgements based on their own scope of knowledge, rather than magically knowing everything.

Even Itachi couldn't anticipate some of the things that Sasuke produced in that battle, so there's no way Obito is able to do so.

Obito had zetsu recorder. He seen the entire fight, so logically he would know what itachi could and couldn't handle something considering he worked with itachi.
