An easy way for Tobi to kill pretty much anyone?

Can't Tobi just go intangible, stick his hand in a vital area of someone's body (head, chest, etc.), and then go tangible again? Insta-kill?

If he can, there is no reason why he didn't use it against Minato. Like simple assasination, don't come with me Minato won't let that thing. Even his power is so powerful/useful ability in NB with your power-up. As you said, it would be just Insta-Kill.

this is one of the very few times i will agree with plot no jutsu because if this is the case suigetsu would be one of the most OP characters in the show. he could just liquify part of his body and drown fools. the reason why neither of these is the case is because that would make for a boring story

But you can bring up the fact that Kishi's made Tobi's S/T techs too OP so he's not having Tobi use it for all the crazy things people have thought up. For example: the question can be raised as to why he didn't kidnap Naruto when he was a helpless kid.

Regardless, I don't think we'll be seeing Tobi do this at all.

I dont really know what would happen but my counter to what you are saying is that the person he sticks his arm into could do the same to him effectively killing him.
