Banri is an even worse character then the one in school days seeing as he doesn't give a single care about the woman he "loves" his past self, or Linda. And just proceeds to hurt them all.

I feel like punching my screen when I see these idiots. I have never gotten so mad at a anime before, and I have watched 77(not counting movies)

The only way the series can be redeemed is if Banri ends up with Linda, or the main female actually stops being the worst female in anime history in comparison she makes Sakura and Asuna(SAO) seem amazing and stupendous in comparison

Asuna is far more useless then Sakura for one, and for two Asuna had a ton of potential to be a very strong lead female, but instead she turned into a very weak and soft female who forgot who to fight and instead clings to Kirito as if he is her only light in the life. Its pathetic.....

Kuoko is worse then either sakura and Asuna for the reasons in my thread, she is mean, violent, course, rude, liar, cheat, theif, cruel, heartless, insensitive, and pathetic. her only redeeming quality is that she knows all of this, but this also her downside because she doesn't even want to change, which ticks me off!. Guilty Crown low diff.
The freaking main character is a plot device,Shu transforms into whatever the plot requires.
The plot requires a savior,Shu becomes suddenly Jesus.
Plot requires a dictator,Shu turns into Hitler in like 5 minutes max of development.
Yet the whole series revolves around the main character.
Let alone the rest of the characters are just as bad or even worse than Shu.

when i watched it, it was a romance anime, so who cares if she wasn't strong.!!

Its just I like strong female leads and Asuna had the potential to be one, I don't just mean strong in fighting, but strong willed, and she isn't any of that. she just isn't strong, she is a just a romantic item for the main character with only character regression. she was a very strong female in the beginning, but instead of continuing down that road she regresses into a little emotionless girl who pads around after the main character like a homesick puppy completely domesticated by our lead character. All strength and courage of her character is gone and replaced by a empty shell of a woman

Seems like you aren't considering crucial factors, which actually makes the relationship unique and also makes the story very deep. Also kaga was never violent to banri like how most chicks in anime are.

Banri is actually a pretty deep character in my opinion. For one he was in a coma and had total memory loss, he's stated his struggle to try and live life because, "Everyone is expecting him to be someone he's not". He lost his memory completely and is trying to start a new life, and honestly I think he truly does care about kaga or koko whichever. Before gaining his memory back for a second he was head over heels for her, even after getting rejected by her he still wanted to be close to her and quite frankly it paid off, he got the girl. The feelings are real, he just got that shock from the past that added another person he loves into the mix.

He has an extremely selfish and annoying past self. His past self which is trapped in his psyche from being in a coma is trying desperately to stop Kaga x Banri from happening because quite frankly he's selfish. Before, he let banri live his life without even trying to restore any memories until he fell in love with someone else. It's easy to say that he's still on that bridge mentally, he never got a chance to hear Linda's answer and is angry. But the selfish past self once him to hold on to his past. Which is something;

-Banri is trying to move past as stated above
- Linda is also trying to move from the past. All that time she knew who banri was and didn't say anything, even after he found out and they started talking again how she didn't completely tell him how she felt and is trying to move on her self. It's obvious.

His love for Linda is part of his past self, the self he doesn't even know. So with him trying to start a new life, it would make sense that he's not trying to be the person he was who he can't even remember. Even when he did like her in the past, she would lie about her feelings like she is still doing now. Linda is obviously trying to move on, otherwise she wouldn't be dating his friend and she wouldn't have destroyed the picture of them. If she really loved him she would at least fight for the relationship, but each time she brushes off romantic moments.

Kaga on the other hand is just a psycho chick. But I think her crazy unpredictable ways will make the story interesting once shit hits the fan. Not to mention her big personality off sets banri's lack of one. Though I don't understand where you are getting the abusive thing from? Even so 90% of anime females abuse the male characters, you should be use to it by now. Shits not new. Even in that Noseki anime you said you were loving, the main girl has been abusing the guy since the beginning.

With all these factors involved, I think when the climax or when a huge issue arrives. It'll result in some really good episodes. For now they're just building the kaga x banri relationship so when the story gets heated they have time and memories together and relationship like he did with Linda. Just to make it more complicated. It would be bad writing if they had banri try to choose between the two when he's barely spent time with kaga. So the story makes sense right now.

I know you're entitled to your opinion so it's not a big deal if you disagree, but I've definitely seen worst characters and story in anime then golden time. It's a pretty decent anime in my opinion so far and also for its genre. It's not cliche.

But no, I don't agree about Linda. I mean she's a cool personality but she can be really dull at times and fake. I like that girl who rejected mitsuo, I forgot her name. But the girl who always has the camera, she's the best character in the show. She's real about her feelings for people, she expresses herself greatly, has humor, and basically makes episodes.

Sorry about the ranting, I just fell in the love with the show it was a mesh-up with baka and test, suzuka, with a dramatic twist. So I am just mad the show lost its quality.
