Kawaki words that Boruto will go to 'teh same place as teh 7th' sounded ominous at first but now it make a lot of sense! Naruto is heading to Jigen timension where Saski is currently sealed...
Naruto will be solo neg diff by Jigen and sent to his timension as a prisoner! But lakookie will explain more later.
First, Naruto defeat will trigger Kawaki decision to walk this evil path...He idolize Naruto because he feel trusted by him and have a similar backstory of pain and flashbacks...But when Naruto get defeated and sealed it will like Bobito's RinRin, this incident will mess Kawaki brain up.
We can already see that Kawaki is not fully trusted by Konoha villagers. And when Jigen seal Naruto, this distrust will become stronger and he will face teh same isolations Naruto felt. Maybe even Boruto will blame him...Causing him to fall back into Jigen's arms...He will believe Jigen word that a only person he can trust is his daddy jigen...
Now back to why Saski and Naruto will be prisoners inside Jigen timension, instead of being killed.
Jigen bait Saskey here for a reason. First, bringing saskey here give jigen an advantage since he controls this space...he knew if he fight saskey in an ordinary way he lose. So he have to trap him here with sneak tactics...on a other hand he dont feel as cautious about naruto coon because he is weaker and dont have space time jutsu...
but anyway, jigen goal is related to collecting six path chakra. His timension is specially designed to drain creatures and pipoles with six path chakra...hence why he bait saskey and have mini juubi battery u_u... Naruto coon will be taken too despite only having a tiny piece of six path chakra... this is why jigen is obsessed with karma because karma is a type of six path seal... he need to collect all these six path beings to revive otsutsuki boss 'omachoko'!
