AMV Contest

After talking to both Nocturnal and Miss Lawliet about it, it was decided that if there are enough interested in participating in an AMV contest, one could be requested to the Admins.

So this thread serves the sole purpose of gathering information on possible interested parties that would like to participate in this.

Also, if you don't know what an AMV contest is, AMV stands for Anime Music Video. You take a music and anime images and make what can be called a video clip. For example one i made a long time ago using final fantasy: spirits within images:

You must be registered for see links

(PS: i can't stream it through NB because of the ownership of the music)

Probably in the begining that would be possible since it would be needed to gather as many participants as possible.

Yeah, in the paper it is. But as far as i know, this was already tried some time ago and failed. So this would need to be well taught out and possibly only once every 2 months or so.

Monthly wouldn't work. We've had an amv contest before, but we had trouble getting enough participants.
I guess with increased amount of members, there might be some people out there that created an amv. But monthly won't work. Maybe Bi-monthly.

It should be, yes.
But I am pretty sure, anyone that would even remotely want to participate, will have made something already.
So I say, that for the first month, they submit stuff they have done in the past.
You might ask, how do we know that`s their work.
I`ll make each and everyone contact me with their YouTube account. >_>

Most of the Episodes have to be converted in order to edit them. :/

Staff could give each one of us the same episode instead of going for all different amvs, so the conversion wouldn't be that much of a problem.

That would be too hard and would make the Contest even more difficult to Organize.

SV Opens pretty much all file types except MKV.
I am sure you can find the correct episodes in all other formats too.
