[Discussion] Amount of Rinnegan eyes

I just stumbled across something I'm kind of curios about, I'm assuming there's already an answer out there, but the vB Search Engine can only offer 'so much'.


Where exactly did Obito/Tobi get the large pool amount of Rinnegan eyes for the Edo-Tenseis he was controlling ~40-50 chapters ago, all the Jinchurikees?

That's a total of 7 eyes right there. Obito should originally only have two, which he got from Nagato's dead body, which were in fact Madaras original eyes, who is said to be the only person the last 100 years to gain the Rinnegan, and above all the only Uchiha who ever got it.

The Sharingans is obvious, they came from the Uchiha Slaughterhouse, but the amount of Rinnegan eyes makes no bloody sense at all.

Anyone got a decent explanation for where the hell he got another 5 Rinnegan eyes?

Same reason Pain had the 6 dead guys with the Rinnegan. Thats one of the powers of the Rinnegan.

Kishi implied it's a reflection of the chakra received from the receivers and not actual Rinnegan. The others were created with Edo Tensei on Madara.
