Ameterasu questions

I've been thinking (bad idea) and what would happen if the ameterasu user was looking at their target through glass? Would the glass or the target burst into flames?

Another what if. What if the glass was a mirror or a block of ice. Also how clear does it have to be to hit the target if it could.

I could probably go on for longer but I think that would be a waste of time so I'll keep it shortish. Thank you for your time.

Lol it wouldn't hit the glass. It's about the point where the user focuses to hit. Might be wrong tho.. And Uchiha don't really wear glasses.

Ameterasu burns what the eye focuses on however what I'm questioning is whether the technique considers the target to be the focus or the image you see on the material to be what is focused on. Sorry for bad wording and grammer. I'm using my phone to type this

It doesn't shoot out of his eyes like heat vision, Its appears wherever he focus's at. So if he looks thru the glass and is still focused on his opponent it would ignite the opponent.

Obviously if you are fast enough to dodge them they dont get you....... Example A is fast enough to not get hit with Amaterasu.

Because Itach was nearly blind and Sasuke was a moving target. Do you pay attention to anything else that happens?

ameratsu hits the target where the eye is (most) focused. That is all. whether your wearing goggles,glasses,contact lenses or even looking through a window

Yeah, Sasuke wanted Amaterasu to hit him so he could use a feint with Oral Rebirth and set up Kirin.

If Amaterasu appears where the user is looking, then it would had appeared on Sasuke whether he was blurry or not.
