Since I have been on the base I have seen a lot of itachi or sasuke vs treads. And one of the main arguements people use to justify them wining. IS "Amaterasu-thats all/most the character needs to win.
They fail to realise that it can be DODGED. As shown by several characters.
Its not a move that just appears on u and incinerates. It may be a fast move yes bt in all fairness saying "at the beggining of a fight all -lets say itachi- needs to do is use Amaterasu and the match is done"
Just ridiculous. Not sure how this will look since I'm doin it on my phone so yeah

yea it is a very strong jutsu but there are better and it has its weaknesses but in its defense any ninja that is not lets say top 15 will be killed by this

It's very lethal, but it does indeed have its flaws. Still it takes someone with extreme speed to dodge it like Naruto, Minato, and A. There aren't many shinobi in Naruto with that kind of speed.

You see Amaratsu in the process of forming not being shot at raikage. the dash marks you see are not a show of speed from amaratsu but a show of where sasuke was focusing. For example when Sasuke used amaratsu for the first time against bee:

You see how we see sasukes vision getting closer without us seeing the presents of amaratsu yet? because it forms where he looks. Its showing us get more direct of where sasuke is focusing his eye. IF sasuke traveled a distance we would see amaratsu through sasukes eyes in this picture with the swiirls make a circle as it gets closer to 8 tails.

We all know during this fight itachi had no intention in killing sasuke. He was not aiming to hit sasuke directly for a final blow because if he had that intention he would have done so. Itachi was trying to get his eye to touch the tip of his wing so he could burn it off. Amaratsu was traveling the air because after it was formed itachi was dragging his eye across the scene to get sasukes wing without hitting him.

I would never accuse a character to amaratsu at the start but don't underestimate the move sasuke has manipulated it in ways we never thought of with its fiirst appearance
