Hes an islamist. Turkish army should overthrow him as fast as possible if they want to protect their secular country, it happened a number of times in Turkey history.

He may not be a terrorist, but hes probably supporting them by buying their oil. For for him overthrowing Assad is a priority, so he may supporting anyone who is against him.
There were several other reasons for coup, not only religion mongering though.

The reason current government have not been overthrown by a military coup for 13 years is that gov. have been arresting military officers by telling media that there was an attempt of coup. While from the outside a coup might seem like best way it has negative stains in our history and it is an undesirable solution regardless.

Just cause he's a muslim don't make him this so called fundamentalist
Erdogan and to an extent his followers are conservative religious zealots who intervene with things they should not. Country is getting backwards in terms of racial, ethnic, gender, social and class issues because of his polarizing politics.

Out country (modern Republic of Turkey) has been built on several ideals and one of them was being secular. This was nearly a century ago, by this one and only standard of secularism, he is a fundamentalist Islamist. He is using religion for a modern state a lot. If you oppose you are getting portrayted as "anti-Islamic" .

There a countless other things about him i do not want to mention since this day was emotionally burdening to me.

And he'll always be safe there's never gonna be a coup d'état if that's what you mean because his people (apart from some kurds) love him and this ain't Egypt.
I am a Turkish person from Turkey and far off from loving him just like majority of my friends.

Before HDP (pro-Kurdish party) have been gathered attention in last year most of the votes in South East Anatolia (in where Kurds are populated) were going to Erdoğan's party. That region is the most conservative one of the country afterall.

OT: What do you expect from a state that has been a tool for decades...

Listen... every president of Turkey in the past was a muslim. But very few of them were this radical. And if they were, army was overthrowing them. Did you hear about Kemal Ataturk? It was his idea to transform Turkey into secular country, similar to european countries. And according to constitution army is supposed to be the guard of this secularity. But Erdogan was clever, he very swiftly repleced army higher ups, so for now hes safe.
I remember hearing my turkish friend talking about a radical politician taking the seat of authority not too long ago against public opinion. I don't know anything else other than some history of the Ottoman Empire and that radical mustache Ataturk

I can't really tell if this is a good thing or a bad thing. TBH I never really liked the media or the message it portrays since "History is written by winners and media is published by money-hungry fools"
