@Unbiased - The 5 million soldiers, trained to to defend America are for obvious reasons, more capable then the 330 million civilians, probably containing a couple million trained gunsmen. That doesn't even factor in the limitation on guns and ammo that the civilians are going to face.

Every city/state/county has an armed militia ready to fight. What's happening in afganistan will happen in America if they try and enact a military state.

If you think the U.S. military is gonna attack the citizens they'd be out of their mind. They're not willing to kill their family members cause they got the order. I know a lot of military members who wouldn't go out and fight against the citizens let alone their family. They swear an oath to protect the constitution and the people not the government.

The removal of assault rifles is infringing the 2nd amendment. If there's to be a civil war the militia requires assault rifles to if need be to destroy the U.S military. Also for your information 88 in 100 Americans own a fire arm. That's 330 million Americans with a gun vs the US army with combined forces of reserves and active duty is 5 million. 330 million vs 5 million yeah they're gonna have to call back the soldiers from afganistan, "contractors" from Iraq, hire mercenaries, call back soldiers from Japan, vietnam, korea, libya in order to fight back against 330 million pissed off Americans.

Most soldiers aren't awake. Most of them are just there for a paycheck or college and don't care about others.

The only reason for those law abiding citizens to go on an offensive is if the 2nd amendment is removed. The only reason for the 2nd amendment needs to come into play is if people try and remove it.

The government now mandates Christian organization to provide contraceptives when its against their religion that is infringement of the 10th amendment. The 4th Amendment calls for the privacy of Americans and the Patriot removed that. The NDAA indefinitely detains all Americans based on suspicion which is also in violation of the 4th Amendment. They should revolt. 58,000 Americans died and 1 million + vietnamese died because of the governments actions(they lied about the gulf of tonkin the "battle" that entered us into vietnam). Are the deaths of hundreds of thousands of innocents not enough to revolt?

depends what you mean by innocents most the people who died were soldiers looking for war to protect everyone same for the other side really everyone wants to protect their own side in war and somewhere along the lines the word protect became the word kill and after killing anyone no one that killed anyone is innocent and sure there have been people on both sides who died that werent involved in anything but thats just unfortunate and would happen no matter what we did government or not
