Amaterasu was not nerfed

People say Amaterasu was nerfed but that is not right word to use :

Lets see Amaterasu amazing results :

1- Hebi Sasuke trolled it with Kawarimi jutsu (Oro's jutsu)
2- Killer B trolled it with Kawarimi as well (The one with his tail)
3- Gaara easily blocked it with his sand
4- A (The Raikage) easily dodged it
5- Danzo trolled it with Izanagi
6- Obito trolled it with Kamui (when he was talking to Sasuke after itachi's death)
7- Obito (As the Juubi's host) trolled it with his Gedu-Dama
8- Kaguya absorbed it easily
9- Naruto blocked it with his V1 chakra at the VOTE2
10- Nagato pushed it away with his ST
11- Minato got hit directly by it (powered up by FRS) and teleported away without any problem
12- The Juubi removed away, easily.
13- Jiraiya sealed it away
14. Madara absorbed it
15. Even when it was able to hit the Samurai, Kankuro and Temari removed it without any problem.
16. Karin also survived it just fine for supposedly being as hot as the sun. lol

The only time Amaterasu succeeded is in part 1 against Jiraiya's jutsu ,so how can you call it nerfed when its failure. Amaterasu power was exaggerated against Jiraiya toad mouth for the sake of plot.

Amaterasu power was exaggerated not nerfed.

Of course it wasn't. If Amaterasu started of burning everything and there was no way to counter it, only then would you be able to say it was nerfed if later onwards fodders could survive it.

Every Jutsu/attack...etc etc in any anime is the same in this regard. They will start powerful/feared, but obviously, the author won't go
on forever with this jutsu without adding weakness and counters. :lol

Yes it was, it's burning speed was nerfed a lot. Part 1 Itachi's amaterasu in a matter of seconds or even instantly burned a big enough hole for Kisame and Itachi to escape. Yet in part 2 Sasuke's amaterasu was burning so slowly, that everyone had a time for a reaction, speaking of reaction, Kishi also trolled with so many ways to deal with it.

Absorbing is fine, but suddenly you can push it away from your body, remove the burning part or just S/T away. Amaterasu burns about as good as the plot demands for it to burn, Karin is the best example. She had only clothes and akatsuki cloak on her, which ama burned through, but didn't do much damage to her skin, while it should definitely kill her. Meanwhile Kisame and Itachi were short on time, walls were closing on them fast and Jiraiya was right behind them just behind the corner, so ama did it's job instantly.

Welp, not really. FRS got its limit against the 3rd Raikage. Even its ability to destroy the chakra system seems to have been ignored lol.
Also, just like the Amatersu in some cases, it also failed like

Against Deva's ST
Against Preta Path
it failed with the Amaterasu against the Juubi and Obito
it also failed with Kaguya after direct hits

...etc
It's just the Amaterasu does not have a saving grace.

you could argue that Kishi also nerfed FRS against Sasuke. Since Wind-style > Lightning-style.
Yet, Kishi did not allow Naruto's jutsu to redirect Sasuke's indra's arrow back at him. :yeah:

True but it seem that's all that he did to it. Even in sage mode FRS could only be used 2x. Now it's spammable.

Amaterasu burned a stone toad insides with ease yet couldn't burn threw armor or chakra. It could be due to the user not focusing on that target which makes it weaker. But ever since then it burn slow and somehow anyone can block/evade it when Raikage needes V2 to even out pace it.

It makes sense that it's useless against preta path. It absorbs chakra and techniques. ST was different tbh pain was still burned into a crisp when he pushed it off.

His FRS worked on Kaguya tho....unless you're talking about Amaterasu.

true also its pretty clear based on actual feats that 4 tails lava is way hotter than Amaterasu considering naruto was burned while not even being hit
