Amaterasu vs Suigetsu

I was just thinking about how Amaterasu is said to never go out when it hits its target. Well Suigetsu can turn into and merge with water! So does that mean that he can escape the strongest fire technique or does he burn while he turns into water??? :shrug:

He would be killed if there wasn't a body of water nearby, like a lake or something. If there was, he could just merge himself with the water from the lake and redirect the fire towards the lake's surface.

amaterasu is a special flame. It will completely burn everythng, even water till a drop will nt remain without vapourising it.
