It's impossible.. Amaterasu/Enton doesn't disintegrate nor does it act like any sort of flame bombs.
It simply ignites things, and burns fairly slowly.. Forever..

But lighting Buddha on fire would improve it's offensive capability.

Amaterasu burns things very slowly, "Even if" sasuke manages to set the whole thing on fire(which he probably can't), it would still take alot of time to burn it completely from the inside out. In that Buddha can defeat its opponent easily.
