I agree somewhat, it's just that the people they fight now are stronger. Amaterasu has been countered for logical reasons except for the Hachibi, I can accept the Juubi shedding that part.

it wasnt nerfed, it just wasnt on the level that fanboys claimed it was, kishi just revealed its true level with respect to other ninjas as the series progressed
