You two aren't making sense. The wall around the window was more or less completely gone, so the burning speed is the same even if it was a complete wall...

And again, Jiraiya's statement confirmed it.
No, I'm making complete sense. What aren't you understanding?

It was simply pointed out that there was a window present where amat. was used. It didn't burn through the entire wall FROM the time it was used TO when Jman finally arrives at the corner.

Even when Jman arrives at the corner, you can see that the bottom half of the wall was still there (burning), it wasn't completely gone.

Was Jman suppose to magically know there was a window there beforehand? lol He assumed amat ripped through its flesh, but that wasn't the case.

No. They never would have made it out if it weren't for the window there.

You can see here that the window takes up the majority of the wall .

Amaterasu breaks through the window allowing Itachi & Kisame to escape, the area around the wall is burning .

Jiraiya and Naruto still have the time to simply walk up to it and seal it without the Amaterasu burning the rest of the area . The burning speed isn't the same.

So he exhausted his amaterasu simply to break through a window. Makes sense.

are you denying the fact that there was a window present??
Is the window not covering majority of the wall?

oh ok.

Window Wall .

So Jiraiya doesn't pursue them?

What does that have to do with your logic you're displaying at this moment? "If the window wasn't there, they would have never made it out." Meaning he exhausted amaterasu simply to break a window.

Somehow, that makes sense to both of you....

ok, I'm tired of fooling around with you.
Jman went to look what occurred AFTER amata was used. Upon his arrival, the wall wasn't compeltely gone.

Here at the top image we clearly see that>>>

By the time he arrives to the window the wall is completely gone. Amate never burned through the entire wall, nor did this happen in blitz speed.

You can continue to play dumb if you please.

So you're saying amaterasu burned through the rest of the wall before jiraiya ran down the hall?

which hall? He initially ran down the 1st hall and witnessed what occurred. Here the wall wasn't completely gone, but was obviously still burning. (there wasn't much left)

by the time he arrives to the hole, what remains of the wall is what was initially posted. (gone)

I'm not going to repeat this, look at the damn image.

If what you're saying is true, then amaterasu does indeed have a fast burning time, as the hole went from window sized to wall sized in the short time it took to walk to the hole made. That's more than fast enough to debilitate or kill anyone hit by it.

Summoning: Toad Mouth Bind

You must be registered for see images

A peculiar technique of partial invocation that summons only an organ: the oeso****us of a great, fire-breathing toad from Mount Myōboku: Rock Lodging (妙木山・岩宿, Myōbokuzan: Iwayado), sending the enemy into its stomach. If activated inside a building or a cave, this trick can ensnare the enemy without them realising it. In this interior, even the foothold is unreliable, the enemy finds themselves in a tight spot, having a hard time performing at their usual level of skill, and unable to find a proper response. The inside of the oeso****us is highly flexible, and adhesive, and won't even allow liberty of movement. In time, the walls of flesh close in and envelop the enemy, dooming them to go inside the stomach where they will be digested.

Jiraiya could control the oeso****us, causing it to expand, contract, or grow in whatever direction he wished. When first used, Jiraiya claimed that no one had ever escaped from this technique. Itachi Uchiha and Kisame Hoshigaki managed to escape when Itachi used Amaterasu to burn through the oeso****us, which is said to be fire-resistant.

Trivia
_____________________________
  • In the video games, parts of the oeso****us also spew fire, which fits with Jiraiya's description of the animal the toad oeso****us originates from.
  • 'Gamaguchi' (蝦蟇口; Literally meaning "toad mouth") is a Japanese name for a pouch or wallet, especially one closed with a metal clasp and used for small change. Naruto's own wallet is a reference to this word as well.[1]
Bold. A fact about Amaterasu burning and not extinguishable capabilities.

Hope this help. From the datebook written by Kishi himself. 0_0

Any normal flame could kill someone.
The only issues regarding amat. is the inability to distinguish it and its initial release.

I'll give you the point that it didn't initially destroy the complete wall. However, you're mistaken in assuming that it burned from during the time Jiraiya saw it and walked up to it (as if that isn't fast enough)[ ] - [ ]. Look at the bottom panel on number 2. Tell me what you don't see. Naruto is nowhere in the pic, while here he is standing very close to it [ ]. That is amazingly fast if we take into consideration the thickness of the wall; observing the burnt wall next to Naruto. I'd also like to remind that the flames does not extinguish on its own; meaning the little flames you see managed to do that [ ]. It's still a feat for the record books .

I'm merely pointing out its burning capabilities (while disproving any implications it took a long time to burn), since *noticing the little flames in the middle left panel* burning the side wall down to within that amount of time is perhaps even greater than outright destroying the wall.

If you have nothing to say, that's fine.
