I agree with people saying it is one of the best fire spells... but I still stand firm with my belief that it is not something to be in awe about.

And to those that say Gaara's sand does not put it out... Go read the manga... if you make me source it for you then shame on you.

Amaterasu is something serouis its proven to be much more stronger then you think.Raikage has shown to be a monster with his lightning armor techique to chop off the 8 tails horn and to go head to head with it, why would he go to the trouble of dodging something thats not serouis???He stupidly took a risk with it and lost an arm.he did'nt bother dodging sasuke's Chidori & Chidori Katana,As strong as bee is with the 8 tails he was winning a majority of the fight against team hawk but Amaterasu has proven its self to bring down the 3rd strongest tail beast Hachibi like it was nothing.Its proven to be stronger then alot of other elements,It may not kill as quick as rasen-shuriken or dust element but when it leaves its mark things get turnt up.


P.S. Garra didnt take out the flame with his sand techique if he did wouldn't he have done the same for the raikage
