Nagato wasn't k.o'd either, while Itachi and Naruto and Bee were talking, all Amaterasu burned was Nagato's elbow. He regenerated his arm, but he was fine.

Edo Tensei cannot act towards another Edo Tensei. Trollkage wanted to kill Muu, but could not. So when Itachi was released from Edo Tensei's control, Nagato was unable to do anything against Itachi's attack whether he wanted to or not.

It seems it only burned part of his arm too. Keep in mind Nagato was NOT programmed to combat his fellow Edos, and Kabuto had to put him into manual control to counter Itachi. He easily sensed the "pressure" building in Itachi's eye and would've countered were he in control.

Edo Tensei cannot act towards another Edo Tensei. Trollkage wanted to kill Muu, but could not. So when Itachi was released from Edo Tensei's control, Nagato was unable to do anything against Itachi's attack whether he wanted to or not.

Edo tensei could'nt die from regular attacks anyway, the only way to defeat them, was to make them have no regret's, basically in a way "Talk no justu", so if Nagato was alive, The amatarasu would have had affect on him, but like you said either way it wouldn't help because edo's can't kill edo's

No Juubi jin feats here, just Shinra Tensei and Gakido. My point was Nagato was simply unable to act because he was in edo autopilot mode. UltimateDeadpool's post above says the same thing.
