to be fair his cloak tanked the massive katons from madara and obito and back it in part one at vote with sasuke his kyuubi cloak tanked a katon from sasuke as well.

Laughable. He tanked molted lava. Amaterasu has a slow burning rate, and the cloak will keep regenerating at a faster rate than the already existing first layer of chakra being burned.
Naruto can also get rid of that part of the cloak, completely disperse it, or use massive chakra arms.

Amaterrasu doe not burn chakra nor did roshi's attack,you can't burn chakra itself per'say/
If the chakra wasn't there then yes,naruto would of been killed or at least severely burned.
