This doesn't make sense because why wasn't pains path destroyed by the "fire part" of J-mans fire jutsu, but yet he can only absorb chakra?

Amaterasu is not a one hit kill. Ex. At kage summit when Amaterasu hit one of the samurai. He had armor on but it's said that Amaterasu is hotter than the sun or something like that. The black flames stayed on that guy for at least 5 minutes until kankuro took the armor off. And guess what. He was unharmed. So what does that tell you.

Amaterasu is an one hit kill. The talk isn't about whether someone can avoid it with his speed or something else, the talk is about whether Amaterasu kills you in the case it hits you. If Amaterasu do, it kills you anyway because it burn until the target is burnt to ashes. I heard someone saying that you can shed Amaterasu by cutting off your limbs or throw off your clothes - both is nonsense. If Amaterasu is cast, it hits your whole body, A on the other hand hit Sasukes Amaterasushield with his hand. And seriously, are you comparing clothes with a armour which protects your whole body? Besides the only way the samurai could take off his armor was that Temari cut it into several parts and Kankuro moved them away with his chakra threads. No one could throw off his clothes in order to escape from Amaterasu.

Amaterasu is a one hit skill. The weakness of the jutsu lies in the hit part of the statement. Obviously because of plot no jutsu amaterasu aint killin anyone.

Ameratasu is not a one hit kill. It can be avoided by amputating or removing the area that is on fire not to mention it is an extremely slow jutsu. It would be a one hit kill if it were to hit the chest or head though as nothing can be done to stop it. A proved this by amputating his arm that was on fire. As for the nine tails cloak stopping it there is no telling for certain if it would or not. It has definitely shown defensive properties though so it cannot be ruled out. This is all assuming it even hits him in the first place...

ok i been seeing sasukes fans saying that sasuke can hit naruto with amatarasu and is all OVER..

first off i dont even know how can he even land an amatarasu on naruto? ok lets just say it does , somehow he manages to hit naruto with an surprise amataruse .... will it kill naruto?

idk when but i seen somewhere it says or someone said it that Amatarasu doesnt burn chakara ...

i think when sasuke used amatarasu on an samurai and gaara's brother used chakara strings to take there armors off..

so could it be that amatarasu doesnt work on naruto? since he has chakara like shield around him?

oro vs 4tails naruto = oro couldnt even scratch naruto even using The Kusanagi Sword which was said to cut everything. and now he has full control over the chakara not to mention we still havent seen much from his new powers , same can be said for sasuke :shrug:

lol going by your logic, kunais,swords or any offensive jutsu is pretty much one hit kill. all of this can kill you if it hits you in the right spot. so stfu and think of a better explanation.

There are so many fail trolls on here who ask what has amaterasu killed. Well im certain it 1 shotted danzo twice for him to sacrifice 2 eyes, 12 zetsu clones. But also tbh its a stupid question to ask what has amaetrasu killed. Just because a technique hasnt killed anyone doesnt mean it cannot kill. I can the same, what has dust release or tbb killed.

All 3 techniques are more or less 1 shot techniques but if you are judging out of the three which has killed its actually amaterasu, from the snake, to danzo, 10-12 zetsu clones. But also if you look at all 3 techniques and how its used amaterasu is the best out of the 3

This is true, but TBB has only been used a few times and it's been BLOCKED by others or DEFLECTED. It has never come into contact with anyone with Orochimaru who still had to use Rashomon gates to block the most of it.

Plus the other attacks aren't NEARLY as hyped as Amaterasu has been. Amaterasu is the most overhyped technique here on NB when it comes to "killing" someone.

lol actually if u talk about an actual fight with real people.... then ya actually it is. For instance kiba, neji, naruto and possibally choji should of died in the sasuke retrieval arch.

clothing is not armor and even if the armor is there then it still burns just as quick, just like if it is regular fire.
as to weather chakara burns or not we will see. the 8 tails is made up of chakara and it burns

Yes, i am a sasuke fan but lets be logical.

hitting naruto with amatarasu is going to be very difficult because of his speed. you gotta remember, sasuke must focus his eyes on one spot to use amatarasu on something or someone.

sasuke used up chakra and it hurt his eyes to use amatarasu over and over again, but now he has EMS. we dont know for sure the full extent to his power and amatarasu usage now that he has EMS.

we already know for a fact that he is able to change the shape and form (like when he was against raikage) and control amatarasu better with his MS, now that he has EMS he'll obviously have even better control of it.

Naruto now has control of the kyuubi, as seen against Tobi, and has obviously become more like his father by perfecting the flying thunder god (as shown against raikage) so the full extent of his power is also unknown.

I hate that people use the chakra threads saving the samurai thing as a way to counter sasuke. the flames were burning the armor and almost burnt through it, the armor was just taken off but was still burning. all that happened was the armor was removed, we dont know for sure if it can burn through a strong chakra shield. but, then again he did burn raikage while he was using a lightning chakra shield.

i think its best to just wait and see when Naruto and Sasuke fight cause they are very even.

yes, but Naruto's defensive chakra is different. he can expand it and manipulate like part of his own body. so my opinion is he can just cut off the burning chakra shield or expand that spot first and then drop. u get me? he just creates chakra arms in spot that is burning and then extends it setting something else on fire for example.

The trick about Naruto's Chakra armor (Correct me if I'm wrong) is that it's not always active, if we take a look into the History books you'll find proof of this, for example Naruto getting hit by both physical and nonphysical attacks, etc, etc. If Naruto were to get hit by Amaterasu (Heaven forbid) He would surely take a blow, but with his regenerative ability it wouldn't scar him for long if he were to survive that is.
