Funny thing is everyone is butthurt over her keeling over, though in truth she killed herself because no one was there for her or something.

First and fore most it is sad whenever someone decides to take their own life. Having said that i'll say this: If you would like to villifie her tormentors I could understand however if you you tally up the incidents it seemed like typical teenage drama to me, with the worst one being her getting punched by the GF of that boy she slept with and thats how I feel about it. I think if she would have taken a break from her social media for a while it would have made the difference (although asking a teenager to do that nowadays seems like your asking them to give up a limb) but instead she continued to dabble in it and even make a video chronicling some of the incidents which to me seemed like it just made the whole thing worse for her. Personally I had very similar experiences growing up as I'm sure others have as well and I think most of us just move on regardless of rep points lost. I think the real issue and why this has been put in the spot light is people ask who's to blame for her death? Her lack of mental stability or the ones who bullied her weather her mental stability was a factor or not.

what makes me sad is the idiots on narutobase that actualy think bullying is ok, reading that this kid put... he made multiple replies its so pathetic what he said about bullying and that if you cant handle it go in a cave the problem is bullies are everywere... and they defend themselves in the most IGNORANT ways.

Stop talking about this girl she is dead now get over it. What she did and what those bullies did is done. Its time to stop talking about other people and learn to get on with your own life. What are your mistakes? What have you done? The girl is dead now so try to respect the dead so that she can rest happily. Dont bother her just get on with your own miserable modern life because i know you're not perfect either! dammit.
Look, IMO, Suicide is selfish and weak. As cold as it might sound, I'm not going to beat around the bush about it. Sure, there girl may have had mental issues. Sure, she flashed her tits to a perv. But once again, that was on her end. Remember, in school we were taught to ever action there is a reaction. And, well, she got a reaction. Yes, she could have blocked, ignored, reported the bullies. But in the ultimatum, she chose death. Which, in some countries is a sign of cowardice. In japan, it is considered honorable under certain circumstances. This is not one of them. No, to me, the right thing to do is to stand up to her bullies. Since it is online, she should ignore them or block them. Just as I already mentioned. Think of Bee from Naruto. How many times did he back down, cry, bitch, or get depressed? Not a damn time! He was always cheerful and kept on trucking.

this is crazy. One does not simply make others feel sorry for something you did all on your own. This girl had it coming, she did all the wrong decisions and didn't stop to correct them. And before i get hated on, one of my best friends recently committed suicide for being himself. He never did anything wrong and never fought back until it was too much. This girl seemed to want to be something she was not, and never thought to make it up.
I'm sorry for the familys loss, but she is by no means a "hero" anymore than the bullies are.

I'm going to be real. Some of the comments in this thread are highly unnecessary.
Also, for those of you who say that "suicide is never the answer" should really look before they leap. You were never ever in there exact shoes for one. Two, all people are different. There are those who select people in this world that can't bare for long dealing with crap thrown there way. Sorry. Not all of us have nerves of steel.
Finally, that bully of Amanda Todd was identified, but will he be punished? All that video showed was that goofy Godfather of Trolls. Psh! Honestly, who cares about that guy.

People made such a fuss over her death it's pathetic and ridiculous. She didn't kill herself because she was bullied to the point of doing so. She did it because it was convenient and because she didn't have the guts to stand up for herself.
Before anyone starts hating on this, I am Not, in any way, shape or form, saying she deserved to die.
It's tragic, its sad, blah blah. Amanda Todd was bullied for a reason, she did all the stupid things she knew not to do and thus she paid the price. She didn't think of the consequences. All these people feel sorry for her, yet claim they feel sorry for the thousands of bullying victims who haven't posted a video on the internet. All just pathetic lies, really. There's more than 4 million people feeling sorry for Amanda Todd, they light their candles and post their memorial pictures and videos and what-not, yet where is all this for the thousands of other people who have been bullied? Bullies are everywhere, especially in social media, but the point is, if you don't stand up for yourself, they will continue to do it until you crack. They don't sit around pondering how someone feels because of their bullying. They sit around thinking up new ways to torment people. Thats just how it is.
