He appears to be calm and collected, but very confident in his powers. Very brash and doesn't seem to be seen in a bad mood. However he shows great anger and annoyance when someone gets in the way of his fun. He is very playful and doesn't take things seriously when it comes to fighting strong combatants which hints that he is very skilled in combat.

Being the Earth King;
As Earth Release is Amaimon's affinity and apparently his most used element in battle, he appears to be able to to perform earth techniques with less hand signs than normally and a tad faster and, thus that he have also self-proclaimed himself the Earth King. He's also able to replace his hand signs with movements instead to perform earth techniques(i.e stomping onto the ground, slamming his fist against the ground etc.)to convert chakra into the ground.
Immense Strenght;
Even though his slim, and doesn't seem out to be much, Amaimon posses great amount of strenght as hes capable of sending an opponent flying with the flick of his finger. This is more or less due his hard training when learning Strong Fist Tai and Kaito-Tai. However he have also undergone intense training when he learned to unlock specific chakra points within his Chakra pathway system. This allowed him to open ''The Eight Inner Gates'' granting Amaimon the ability to surpass his own physical limits, however at the cost of extreme damage to his own body.
Background Info.
History:
Seventeen years ago, a boy called Amaimon came to this world. It was in Kirigakure in a house which seemed to collapse at any moment. The mother died as she gave birth to the boy, and left him only with his father who was in grave sorrow over the loss of his dear wife. The first years of Amaimon's life were tragic and unjust, as his father mourned over his deceased wife, rather than spending time with his only child. Thus Amaimon was most likely always alone, besides when they ate dinner which his father barely could provide, also due the fact that Aimamon never had the luxury of spending time with the other kids of the neighborhood. He didn't know why, they just seemed to expell him from their "group". In all fairness, we can easily assume that this was a very sad period in Amaimon's life.
As the time passed and his father slowly got over the loss of his wife and Aimamon had began training on the ninja academy of Kirigakure. He was a complete failure as an academy student. He failed on his tests over and over again, he got multiply chances to improve and prosper, but the next time didn't turn out any better. However, he kept up his hope, thus way he continued even though normally, people would've given up. One of Amaimon's teachers, Tenzo, saw potential in the boy, even though the countless failures. Tenzo thought, that Aimamon just needed someone, someone special who would give him a kick-start. This someone turned out to be Tenzo herself.
Tenzo dropped her status and job in the academy, and asked Amaimon if he would join her in her journey. He was quite unsure, as he had never left Kirigakure even once, he actually never stepped outside of the ports even. As he made up his mind, he went home and packed his stuff and left, without saying a single word to his father. This tormented his father greatly. Even though his father never really cared about him, he was still his father, but he had made up his mind already, and took off with Tenzo. When he arrived to the harbours of Kirigakure, Tenzo was already waiting for him. They hurried up and aboarded the first boat, towards the Rise Country.
After two days they finally arrived. It was a late evening, complete darkness covered the harbour and it was raining heavily. They went straight to the tavern, got a room for two and got some rest. It was very early in the morning, when a cold bucket of water smashed agains Amaimons face, waking him up immediately. They went straight out in the open fields where they begun the training, and this routine continued as the same, for a year or so. She was merciless and the training was hard and painful and she kept him in a short leash, and he learned everyday, it was like a dream come true. No more failures, Aimamon kept telling him self every single day for that long hard year.
One beautiful noon, the two sat upon the training fields. He had just completed his 'exam' given by his teacher. She told him to leave, as she had taught him all that she possibly could. She wanted him to experience what's out there, in the wide world with his own eyes. He felt he was getting expelled, he got her motives all wrong and thought he just had been a two tons weight on her back all this time. Eventually it broke up to an argument and developed to an fight. He woke up on the field later in the evening that day, realizing that he had lost the fight. He couldn't see Tenzo anywhere, so he figured that she must have gone to the tavern. He ramped in the door to their room, however all that was left was a picture. Once again, he felt alone in the world, with no one caring for him. In anger, he destroyed the tavern and left it burning behind him as he disappeared to the night.
For few years the roamed and traveled here and there, and had met alot of new people. Some bad, some weird, some abit to curious, and some good. However, he didn't believe he would see any of these again, as he kept on traveling. He didn't know why, he just did it. Maybe the lack of motivation or dreams, he didn't really know. But something kept moving him forward.
He was walking up the dusty road as he came by some bench with a person upon it, it seemed like some wierdo, he was dressed in a long black cloak with red patterns of skies, a bamboo hat with some wierd stuff dangling down infront of his head. As Amaimon got closer he came to recognise that it was an old face, and not just anybody. It was Tenzo, his old teacher who expelled him, though he wasn't really mad anymore. He found it quite awkward untill she spoke and suddenly he found himself sitting on the bench, laughing while talking with his old teacher again. It was like back then, when they trained together. He got the feeling of safety, and was happy once again. After quite a while of talking she began to spoke of a certain organasation she had joined, it's name was Akatsuki. As she spoke about the organazation he got more and more desire to join this group of people and well, she got that arranged and got him into the group.
As they arrived to the organazation's base he met alot of new faces like, Emperor, Faust, Pervy Sage, Deidara Nara(Dei Dei), Scary Yamato, Daemon, Hatake Kakashi(Eddy-kun..), MC T, PoDsie nd ZeroGarra. They sure were an unlikely bunch of people you would meet on the streets, but they appeared to be gathered nontheless. As the time passed some faces slipped nd some new joined in.
Tenzo nd Amaimon was assigned with a mission, and was to assasinate a certain person called Mephisto Pheles. They went to the port and was on their way to the Lightning Country, however it seems like mother nature had a word to be said aswell. A sudden wild storm came out of nowhere and lied siege upon the ship which soon turned into a shipwreck, Amaimon lost sight of Tenzo in storm as he got hit by the railing in the backhead and got knocked out... As he woke up he was swept up on land by the water, there was no one to see anywhere, besides some planks and barrels from the shipwreck. He got up and started to look after others, sadly, there was no one to be seen and, yet again he had lost Tenzo. He was torn, and decided to stay for abit on the beach he was swept up on. However that 'abit' turned into one month where he just sat, waiting for any sign of life... He had lost hope, and rose up and decided to find a nearby village. Just as he got up, and man walked by. He was wearing some weird clothes, white and purple, with a matching purple tophat, and an matching umbrella aswell. He didn't pay much attention to Amaimon and continued his walk as he swung around with the umbrella. Amaimon felt a strange aura around him, however Amaimon decided to continue up the road, tryna find a village where he could get some rest...
After a week of resting in the tavern he had figured out he actually wore in the lightning country, even though he coulda have been sweept up so many other places in this wide world. What a luck, he thought. He packed his stuff and did make ready to take off again, as he went out the tavern door he saw the weird guy again with the tophat and umbrella. It was first now it hit Amaimon that this guy was Mephisto Pheles, the guy they were assigned to kill. He took the chance and attacked Mephisto. But without any much thinking for Mephisto, he basically handed Amaimon ass to him, and after a few seconds he was defeated. Mephisto simply laughed at the youngster, and accpeted his bravery and decided to befriend him, however Amaimon firstly declined but Mephy got the good of him and they eventually ended up being friends even though, Amaimon had been assigned to kill him. As the time quite some time had passed and Amaimon had completly forgot everything about Akatsuki he decided to join the lightning country for a tad, he though was lucky as Mephy had put in a good word for him and he quickly got accepted by the Raikage, Mugiwara, more or less with open arms. Though it didn't matter much.
It was one of his daily patrols in service of the lightning country, they were patrolling in the outskirts of the borders to look for weird activity, enemies, etc. etc. And it happened so that Amaimon and his platoon for once actually encountered a person, he was dressed in some weird cloth, however as he charged at them he seemed to be ultilizing a certain element, known as Mokuton. Amaimon was shocked to meet an old face while during service for the lightning country... It was Scary Yamato, the Wood Sage. With immense speed and power of his Mokuton he wiped out the platoon pretty easily and ended up stabbing Amaimon in the stomach. Scary Yamato left him dying slowly as payback for leaving the organazation... Amaimon's vision was getting clouded and his limbs was lifeless, he didn't understand what was going on, but he soon realized it was something he wouldn't have a taste of, and yet had much to accomplish. With the power from the bottom of his heart, he arised from the dust... After a week of resting he woke up in the hospital, he couldn't remember much of what happened, but he seemed to be alive..

He decided it was time to yet again to take a new path to walk upon, so he packed his stuff and left the village without a word, though he didn't belive the raikage cared much about it anyways. He found himself in the Fire country, where he bought a house in some village and soon become a sensei for several small shinobis in the village. As quite some time had passed and he had taught several persons how it is, being a shinobi, he went off again, and traveled toward the north and eventually met up with a guy called Zenryoku. Zenryoku nd Amaimon became very good friends, and after quite some time he eventually taught Amaimon Erbium Release, his own created element.
As he finally arrived in the furthest part of the North, he walked inbetween the high mountains as he discovred an ancient art called Viking Style, which he adopted to become his own personal style, which he only taught to whom he thought worthy. In was walking in the mountains for months, as he finally went back towards the fire country he met mosh-head, his name were Zoro, some sort of Pirate hunter apparently. They together, with Zoro's mind and Amaimon's abilities, created a new furious element, the Abyss Release, the pitch-black darkness.
He soon arrived in the fire country again, and heard that a tournament soon would be held, and he quick assigned for the tournament. He fought brave shinobi's however, he ended as the victor and achieved a so called Curse Mark of Heaven which is located in his armpit. Which got given out by a so called Smexus. This wasn't last time they would be seeing eachother as later on that day, Amaimon found a poster, of a medical student application, he quickly applied and got accepted. The headmaster appeared to be Smexus...
The hard training in the medical arts began and he slowly began to learn. However it soon ended up with they all got a vacation for all the students so they could get a tad of time to relax. He decided to give a little visit back at Akatsuki, seeing if they still where alive.
And they where pretty much alive, new faces, only two old remainded. They accepted him back in with more or less open arms. He got alot of new guys to know like Zanji, Xylon, Kagutsuchi etc. etc. They all seemed to get along pretty well. He soon with alot of help from his dear friend, Ibby Ibbisson learned(And is still undergoing training for it) to unlock his Eight Inner Gates, though it was through harsh training, if not overhuman.

Gates 1-3 increase damage by 3 for each hit, user damage=3 per turn gate is active
Gates 4-6 increase damage by 6 for each hit, user damage=6 per turn gate is active
Gates 7-8 increase damage by 8 for each hit, user damage=8 per turn gate is active(8th gate kills user after the attack is done)
