I preferred when Obito was Tobi because of the mystery. I hate the fact the he betrayed everything he ever loved just because run died. He should have said that the death of Rin was the catalyst for him trying to destroy the world.

That was My opinion besides once Tobi became Madara the war arc started losing interest to me. Besides My favorite villain is Oro because he strikes me as a villain not as some sort of Dark Knight.

The more and more I think about it, the more I realise madara is just but hurt about losing to hashirama for the role of hokage, coming back with the kyuubi to avenge himself.. and then losing again. His speech about as long as their is winners their will be losers was just about him self and is kind of lame.

Madara Uchiha has more depth than Obito Uchiha. The latter forsook his own belief system, and adopted Madara's, essentially becoming a miniature Madara—there is not much depth there, when you consider his reason once the mask came off; catalyst or not.

It's pretty much why most dislike Obito.​

I like obito ten tons more then madara. Madara is just another arrogant vanilla uchiha with eye candy for jutsu. Obito on the other hand is easily one of the most interesting and multifaceted characters in the manga. It depends on what you like in a character unique and intriguing or eye candy with no substance.

No you ARE not. Obito is my favorite character next to Sasuke. I hate when people downplay his reason for becoming evil..some people are WAY too simple-minded. He's one of the most well developed characters in the series.
