I still like Lord - Aizen-sama better. He'll always be my favorite.

He can use or control the yama's bankai because the bankai becomes his possession.
I doubt the bankai would hurt their master.
correct me if i'm wrong since i don't have much knowledge about bleach.

To humiliate him. I mean, what's worse, having you strongest power turned into particles or getting stolen as a whole and then used against you? Plus, Yamamoto thought Yhwach couldn't steal his Bankai, so Yhwach wanted to prove him wrong.
Because he needed Llyod to distract him so he could talk to Aizen. And Yamamoto thought he couldn't steal his Bankai, so when Yhwach came back, he wanted to prove he could.


He doesn't absorb the flames per se, but he turns them into particles (Reishi=spirit particles) and then absorbs them.

i don't have much knowledge about bleach but didn't he got his ass kicked by yama before?.
i think he stole yama's bankai because he didn't want his ass got kicked again.
Edit: some Quincy got burnt to ash by yama, right?
why didn't they absorb the flame?

Which automatically puts him him at Yama's level, not much weaker at best.

yes, i know he has enough power to stole yama's bankai.
but i mean that once the bankai becomes yours, you can use or control it freely.

Idk if he was easily beat by him, I just know that Yama failed to kill him.

i think he stole yama's bankai because he didn't want his ass got kicked again.

I doubt there power is that far apart that he can't fight him without stealing his Bankai.

Same reason Yhwach was only able to steal his Bankai; they can't maintain it. Since the amount of Reishi you steal is proportionate
to how much Reishi you can withstand absorbing. Otherwise any Quincy would be god tier.

Lel, Quincy: Vollstandig absorbs Reishi. And everything in Seireitei is Reishi, even Yamamoto's flames are comprised of Reishi. So what does that mean?

Yeah. With Quincy: Vollstandig the Quincy's can absorb any thing which is made of Reishi (like how Uryu absorbed the Reishi which made up the house when he fought Mayuri). Also, using Quincy: Vollstandig, anything made of Reishi they absorb automatically turns into Reishi - so when they absorb it, they won't absorb the flames but little particles. Whereas stealing Bankai is stealing the Bankai itself, they don't turn it into Reishi, they just pretty much take it as a whole.

If you mean when they fought the first time, then it's 'cause Yhwach didn't have that kind of equipment.
But if you mean during the invasion, then: the Yhwach which made Yama go Bankai wasn't actually Yhwach, it was Lloyd/Royd (I don't know who, but one of them can replicate someone's power and the other can replicate someone's image). So Yama was fighting one of them when the real Yhwach was talking with Aizen.

I did read all post..I'm asking the first time they fought 1000 years ago how come Bach did not absorb Yamamoto flames and beat his ass?...the only reason Bach lived was because Yamamoto never used the full power of his bankai 1000 years ago in their first fight.

And also the shinigami soul got reishi In it so shouldn't we see particles coming off their body? I swear I saw no particles coming off of myuri or shunsui when they fought against the vollstanding.

Uryu learned that tech from his granddad. And he probably learned it from someone else. Since the Shinigami beat the Quincy's 200 years ago which would mean they didn't have that kind of power. So perhaps after that war the Quincy's decided to master such a tech..

The shingami beat the Quincy 1000 years ago they did not have vollstanding they had something called "Letzt Stil" witch died out over 200 years ago...it's much different from vollstanding as the guy said while fighting ichigo in heuco mondo..

The guy that shunsui fought against during the first invasion when they stole banaki...he used it on shunsui....and all shinigami are not on Yamamoto level Yamamoto was the only person who could not get his bankai stolen everyother soul reaper could get there's stolen...brings me to the question how come shunsui had no particles coming from him?

Honestly I like both Juha Bach and Aizen, they are both really good antagonists.

Juha wasn't as powerful as he is now either. Back then the quincy used archaic methods of fighting and didn't have tools such as the Letzt Stil.....before they had to wear the gloves which could lead to them losing all of their power
