It's pretty much a fact that the Naruto manga's ending, so this rules out a part 3. However, there are some things implying that the story will be continued.
Take this for instance.
Hagoromo is an "Alien" although implied to be somewhat different from that.
Kaguya came from "A faraway land."
Then we're introduced to alternate dimensions.
OK, I think that this may be where Kaguya came from. That might be her home dimension. Regardless, there's quite a bit of mystery of where she came from.
And then there's this.
"Soldiers." May I remind you that Infinite Tsukyomi is a genjutsu casted on the entire planet?
So......... Who's Kaguya supposedly fighting? It only makes sense that there's something else out there that we have not seen in the Naruto series.
Considering the manga's ending, why add such a big mystery right at its end? It's supposed to end this year! Why introduce an entirely new possible direction?
There's only one rational conclusion. Kishimoto's ending this manga, but at the same time, leaving it open-ended for a spin-off series some other time after giving himself a break from Naruto. Kind of like DBZ was a spin-off of Dragon Ball.
What do you guys make of this?
