[Discussion] Am i the only one who finds Bleach hard to understand?

When it comes to Bleach i find it hard to understand how for example someones Bankai works after they explain it (Kyouraku mostly) and i have a hard time remembering certain characters names. I do remember the captains of the Gotei 13 but i keep forgetting the names of Vice-captains except for Madarame, Matsumoto etc. Because those are characters we see all the time and they look original.

Alot of bleach characters look alike and some i just find irrelevant, for example i only remembered Nanao's name because of Kyouraku vs Lille Barro fight. My biggest problem is remembering names, the names are hella complicated.

Am i the only one having these problems?

Is Kubo bad at explaining things, is he creating overly complicated names, are his characters not memorable or is it just me?

I mean in other manga everyone has different clothes, different facial structures and everything but in Bleach alot of people (especially women) look the same.

I'm in with the same line with you. Bleach the series is so easily forgettable yet when you do try to reread and focus the situation with the characters within the story, alot of their exposition are so confusing when explaining their abilities yet alot of them just literally makes no sense especially the power scaling when Kubo loves to pull shit out of his ass.

Same about One Piece, I find it hard to remember names and at times, what's going on.

And Kyouraku's abilities are making children games real, even himself must follow the rules. His Bankai is slightly different and carried out in 4 stages.

its fairly easy to remember the names after a while. when i first started watching bleach i couldnt remember any names other than ichigo and aizen, but after a while you will get the hang of it. dont worry if you cant remember all the names though, i still cant remember all of the zero division.

(i agree about all the females looking basically the same. particularly nanao and lisa)

I tried watching the first fifty episodes but couldn't over how a shitty new death god and his friends were able to fight on equal footing with captains who were hyped to be very powerful.plus ichigo fought In three fights were he almost died but yet recovered in less than a day to fight even more powerful enemies.

I have the same problem ,and I also see it very hard to read bleach manga ,I watched the anime till the end and it was awesome ,then I tried to keep up with manga till yamamato's death ,I found difficulty in realising what happening in a lot of occasions, who attack the other !!?what is this !!? ..etc unlike bleach manga ,naruto's manga is much easier to read .

Never been confused or had a hard time remembering names. When reading new chapters though I have reread several times due to translation issues.

I think Kubo doess a decent job at differentiating females. Some of his male designs can be repeats. I always thought Haschwalth looked like a blond quincy Byakuya.

People say everything's complete shit now, there's a bunch of them on here that say Naruto was shit. It's just the popular thing to be jaded right now.

People also tend to be optimistic about things when they are still following it so looking back things aren't as great as they thought they were.
That said naruto is objectively shit 4th Great War and onward for about 80% of the time or more

Leaves a bad taste in my mouth for sure. But that's isn't what I meant, I meant that the last part is bad, (it's actually 200 chapters long, so it over 25% of the manga) but the rest is good
