My friend told my friend and me that her boyfriend makes $20 an hour. I said "Oh... what's his job?" She said he makes furniture. Am I supposed to be impressed or something? I'm not impressed at all. I'll make $1 more than him and I'll have a much more satisfying job, with benefits and vacation. He doesn't have that. So why is she talking about his pay? What a gold digger.

Exactly, she's so impressed by his money. All he does is make furniture. There's no benefit to that, or maybe he gets discounts but there's nothing else. The environment is shiit too. I know nurses make a lot more.
