I have a history paper do in about 48 hours and i may have trapped myself, there almost no way i can start a new topic this late in the game but

My paper is supposed to be on anything from the end of World War 2 to 2003

My topic is on the reactions to the reveal of the atomic bomb at the postdam conference, I think im cutting it close but isnt the atomic bomb unveiling technically after WW2?

I think you should be alright, but you better start working if you want it to be done in time. xD

The revelation of America's atomic power can technically be seen as a late-WW2/post-WW2 topic, so I don't think you'd need to worry about it being too early or such. Most see the surrender of Nazi Germany as the end of the war, despite the fact Japan had not surrendered at that point yet.

You should be fine, since you have plenty to write about (the Cold War, all of the treaties in-between regarding missiles and nuclear weapons, post-WW2 reactions about the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki).

Thanks that was some well needed reassurance, I plan on going into how the Soviets so this and why they entered the cold war :)

At least you still got time to study o_O

Cold war is really simple :/ ?

Well getting the paper done is really easy its just that i have to play historiographer and come up with my own specific history related question like "How did the Model-T car effect america in the early 1900's" or "How did the New Deal programs help North Carolina's agriculture and economy during the great depression" (previous paper i wrote.)
I have to go out and look for primary sources and etc.

Keep calm and concentrate. You can save this easy mode if you do so.
