Not everything has been given an explanation, pnj is a valid assumption due to Kishi's inconsistencies in the story.

He didn't have either of his eyes. He did all that eye-less. Must be the Hashi dna + senju chakta + his own + Hashirama making comments about Madara regaining powers + Susanoo doesn't require eyes after you achieve it....because f u he's Madara and thats why! Lol
It was said that Hashirama played with the bijuus like pets. Madara must have played with them too but more like the psychotic kid next door...

I am beginning to think that Susanoo is only a part of the sage of sixth paths power that has been dumbed down through the generations. Upon getting Uchiha and Senju DNA one could unlock powers close to the original sage (which we should assume by now was able to use every technique in the NAruto world.)

I didn't read all of that, but from skimming it and the Obito example, I got the impression you were trying to explain that even if an Uchiha's eyes are removed, their connection to them is still there. If this is true then for me at least the susanoo thing does make more sense.
