Am I missing something about jinchuuriki chakra cloak?

So when Naruto went 4 tails at the beginning of Shippuden when he fought Oro they made a big deal, about how the cloak doesn't actually protect Naruto and instead actually does a ton of damage to him. And after Yamato takes him out of his 4 tails mode we see that almost all of his skin has been burnt off.

My question is why doesn't this happen to Naruto now when he has his chakra cloak in BM or KM.... It's still the kyuubi's chakra so shouldn't it do the same type of damage?

Maybe it's because back than NAruto and the Kyubbi werent great friends, and he's chakra was mostly filled with his angry so it burned him badly since it was filled with his angry. But now that their friends the Kyubbi is trying to save naruto in any way it can such as restricting the amount of chakra it absorbs from him, and giving him access to full beast mode. And helping him gain knowledge and wisdoms on stuff, but this is just my opinion.

This is a different kind of chakra cloak because Naruto is using the chakra without the foxes mind whatsoever, when he did it before he pulled in part of the foxes mind whenever he hit 4 tails, Bee does the same thing except he and the Hachibi are melding their minds, with Naruto it's different.

Chakra + Bijuu Mind = Killer Bee's cloak
Chakra - Bijuumind = Naruto's cloak

That's probably the best answer. But honestly I think Kishi just forgot about it. Remember when Naruto almost went full kyuubi against Pain? After going that far into his transformation he had no damage then either...

I think that may be because after the 6th tail the body stops breaking down and starts to create the Foxes body from Naruto's so it was already regenerating and as soon as the seal kicked back in Naruto was healed... plus what was he supposed to do... Naruto falls from the sky with his skin burned and nearly unconscious after this great inspirational moment with his dead Father... Yeah the fans would have loved it. (Plus as far as fantasy goes it wasn't that much of a stretch from his rules in order to keep the plot flowing the way he wanted).

They are on good terms now so it does not burn him anymore. The foxes mind was what that was burning him.
