Am I An Otaku??

My Favorite Anime & Manga Series of all time:

1.Naruto
2.Yu Yu Hakusho
3.Hunter x Hunter
4.Bleach
5.Dragon Ball Z
6.One Piece

Anime & Manga series that i liked and just gave up on because i felt it was a waste off my time:

1.Fairy Tail
2.Rave Master
3.Inuyasha

so far no other anime or Manga out there interests me... i don't think i'm an otaku at all lol be honest, judging by my list above is their any anime/manga(mainstream) that can compete with Masashi Kishimoto,Yoshihiro Togashi,Tite Kubo, Akira Toriyama or Eiichiro Oda's Manga?? These 5 authors are for the 6 series above and are the best anime/manga internationally...so answer me this.

Code Geass, Death Note, FMA Brotherhood, Cowboy Bepop, Magi are all supposed to be amazing (i've only seen death note in the list but im planning on watching them all next week once finals are done).

Well, I don't like to become one, but some Otakus who
state they themselves are Otakus, aren't actually that obsessive if you ask me.

Otaku is kind of a lifestyle. takes more than just "liking anime"
just like how simply saying you've watched all the star wars movies doesn't itself make you a "nerd"
But unfortunately the people who traditionally use those words as insults, would probably jump to such a conclusion with the little proof you stated.
