What's wrong with being a nationalist though?

I don't see an issue with it so long as it's not used to demonize or ostracize foreigners for the mere sake of being foreigners.

I don't think you're a racist but I do get the vibe that you're sympathetic towards the alt right which is a political identity many white supremacists use but as there are racists in the alt right there are also racists in the alt left, you can be racist to white, black, native, latino, any background..

In America, a lot. Bc the core platform of “nationalism” is exclusion, but you’re on land that your nation forcibly stole, forcibly dragged people to, and forcibly expanded. So if you don’t stand for those people as well, you aren’t a nationalist, you’re a white nationalist, which is pc for white supremacist. This isn’t a Caucasian nation. Nationalist is too often the cover word for racist.

I'd also refer you to the quotes of Fountain in my comment. He literally argued that blacks are lazy because whites were slaves longer in Europe and are more successful than African Americans in the U.S. That is the definition of racism.

Caucasians had been slaves in Europe and the middle east for longer than blacks were sold from Africa to work as slaves by englishmen in America. For centuries they were hunted down, used as currency, and the women and even children used a *** slaves.

Yikes, the shred of respect I had for a few of you is completely dissipated. Seeing a lot of your responses is saddening, but not surprising. People who are so fervently fans of foreign media, paradoxically tend to also be rejective of other minorities. How do you stand on a “nationalist” platform on a site for a Japanese manga? Still less surprising though, because the most anti-black cultures in the world are west European and East Asian cultures. Wow this thread is a mess.
