Alternate realities are proof imagination and reality are the same thing.

Cus if you think about it, alternate realities are places where our imagination is real, like what if I had met a certain person then what would I say to that person right now?
We can think about that, and those thoughts are just fiction cus we never actually dod that cus that person doesn't exist so we can't talk to that person.
But if the person would exist then our conversation would be what we would try to say and so at least partially that imagination is completely valid and real.
So if there is an alternate universe out there where we would do the things we think about then those thoughts are not just imagination they are completely real.

And sometimes people take thoughts seriously even if they are fake, cus they could be real anyway, for example if you found out someone was thinking about committing a crime then you would absolutely take him seriously even if he haven't actually done anything real yet.

Even if the crime is completely ficticious it still counts.

Premeditation, alternate realities and imaginations are all entirely different things.

While they all deal with thought in an aspect, their principles don’t align. For one thing alternate realities in truth shouldn’t be restricted to only one variable, such as you described above. It could be completely random for instance, you probably wouldn’t even exist in an alternate reality because your dad got a vasectomy earlier in his life or something.

That being said though, the first scenario you proposed is still imaginary which can’t be seen as real since you can control absolutely all of the variables that you conjured up; which would separate it from any type of reality by default.

The last scenario you brought up is premeditation to commit a crime, which can be acted upon. It can influence the real world but regardless of if the act is carried out or not, it won’t create an alternate reality, it would just change the existing reality.

thoughts do shape your reality. from perspective of reality, the actions that you make in reality and how others respond to you in reality. it all stems from thoughts, theyre powerfully the most powerful thing we have, almost everything around you came from a thought from someone or yourself. everyone who accomplished any of there goals imagined it first, even if it didnt turn out exactly how they expected

thoughts are real but action is required to materialize them, you can dream all day but if you arent doing anything to make it real, its just in your head. thoughts do shape reality and theyre apart of the same. but thoughts need action

in parallel universe theory. its true you could imagine a scenario that may be already actualized in another reality. but its impossible right now to say how accurate what youre imagining is. and if you do guess it right, it doesnt mean you created that reality since it exists separately from your own

If there were an alternative reality chances are it would be a replica of this one. If one manages to break the space time continuum and alter another reality, a big bang would happen and reset the universe, in less than a nanosecond.

You like making pretty philosophical posts. I was reading some, let's see.

Alternate realities would naturally induce parallels, a certain concept might cease, you might never exist (cause and effect) overlap or even function entirely differently. From Newtonian physics to abstract philosophy, there are limits to human understanding or truths that go beyond verbal discourse and linguistics. Animals, even our closest primates cannot comprehend "abstractions" such as morality or even personification, they simply cannot conceptualize it, it's like us trying to comprehend a fourth dimension, it simply cannot happen.

And sometimes people take thoughts seriously even if they are fake, cus they could be real anyway, for example if you found out someone was thinking about committing a crime then you would absolutely take him seriously even if he haven't actually done anything real yet.

Even if the crime is completely ficticious it still counts.
In Carl Jung's work that's referred to as the repressed shadow, in conventional psychology "the reptilian mind". Everyone has a repressed shadow no one is obviously going to "publicly" admit to theirs, it's not a definitive indicator of action. The more it's repressed, the easier it can momentarily posses your conscious. Which is why he proposed individuation, to allow those thoughts to assimilate naturally rather then forcefully repelling them, which never works.
