[Question] Alternate Accounts

Are alts allowed? A mod told me that they're allowed if you want another profile/persona etc, just don't use them to grief and don't use them while banned. But multiple accounts is allowed...

But if I go to create another account, it pretty much tells me there's already an account to this ip address and "alts are not allowed".

So explain the rules behind alts please

Only 3 alts per ip and reg is down so it doesn't matter at this point.

Can't use an alt while main is banned.

Can't use an alt to troll.

Can't have two accounts made from the same IP unless requested from a mod.
