My level of -- "fanboism" for PlayStation is dropping. Sooner or later, I plan to buy or build high-specs PC Desktop for gaming. I feel anger eating in me. A long ago, I watched a video on YouTube from ReviewTechUSA about " ". Watch the video. I was very disappointed. I used to watch on Twitch live-streaming of Resident Evil Remastered. The PC version runs in 60fps, but the console version runs in 30fps. Then, there is a YouTuber called Rags, and I enjoy watching/listening to his videos about PC and console. All this push me to really switch from console to PC. PC is simply the perfection, the excellence of game performance, and most of all, the freedom to do WHATEVER you want with your favorite game. PC just gives you what you want for your game. Watch Dogs when it showed first time on E3, it used a PC version. The console version was so bad.

I will get PC only to play games like:

- MGS5: The Phantom Pain
- GTA5
- Resident Evil Remastered
- RE5 and RE6

Probably also to play:
- Call Of Duty
- Battlefield

and more.

Consider me taking the red pill.

a PC would cost whatever the price is based on its specs. It's all based on your budget. If Desktop and Laptop share same specs, don't think they would cost same price. Laptop costs more than Desktop. Even they share same specs. Console for $400? OK, but it's up to you if you care about resolution and framerate.

and parts don't cost 2K. It would only go for a motherboard that it's high on price for maybe $900? I don't know, but I sure you the motherboard costs much than any part.

and no. you don't need new computer for this or that game. There's something called "upgrade".

That's not really how it works unless you're dealing with an enthusiast-level PC gamer. I can build you a computer with $400 that runs faster (and cooler) than a console. And I would also end up saving a lot more seeing as how PC games are almost always cheaper than console versions and we get huge discounts on games from places like Steam.

Funny thing is that graphic quality settings set to low on PC look as good or better than console graphics quality. That's why they are so cheap, because they use outdated hardware to run games that were built on computers and were then scaled down so that consoles don't choke and melt from within (which happened to plethora of people who owned the previous generation of Xbox/PlayStation because of poor circulation of a system that was under R&D for years).

Edit: How could I ever forget about having to pay just so you can play online in consoles.

A high spec PC you build now will last you until around 2025 "mid range" games at moderate settings. With peer to peer(torrents) if your IPS doesn't block it or have a brutal FUP, you almost never buy games

It's not really realistic to buy a mid-range PC and then just settle with that. You will feel pressured to constantly upgrade. Plus it doesn't feel as nice playing with your friends on a PC compared to a console. Keyboard and mouse is kind of dumb but if you don't use that for a fps, you will get wrecked. But resolution, fps, and mods, are with the price, and lack of convenience to many. Get what you want.

Get both if money really isn't a problem. I mean I just built an entry lvl pc, and I'm still googly eyes over the switch and those breathtaking ps4 exclusives. Where as on pc all im seeing is indie sprite garbage, pointless open world games and Multiplats that perform "better"

If you are into any ps4 exclusive just keep it for that game.
But do get the pc if you are looking to enhance your gaming experience.

Pc is obviously superior with its hardware but it really comes down to preference based and the community you choose to be around.
I'm on PS4 because of my friends and a little part of the exclusives I like take part in my preference of PS4 over other consoles and pc. It's pretty sad that people continue to have to try and make a point that pc > consoles when in reality those who game on consoles don't care and vise versa pc gamers don't care about consoles. Fanboying should be kept amongst your own circles (of jerking?)
