For a few months, I've been suspicious of Alpha's theories cause they seemed familiar. I mean REALLY familiar and now I'm convinced that he is a fraud cause a lot of his theories are blatant rip offs of OJ theorist including myself. He has an account on OJ as well and has had many conversation with me and other theorist. No. He doesn't give credit to his sources and no, the original theory owners aren't happy. I'm really disappointed honestly....here is a direct example...

The original poster of the theory never gave alpha permission to post. Alpha says his theory was an inspiration but its pretty much a mirror image. In the Green Bull theory, Alpha claims a sub sent him the theory but the original owner was never informed. When the owner tried to talk to Alpha about it, he was ignored.

Here is another example, no credit or anything.

Pay attention to "Uranus is the extension of life, vigor, power and prime." I saw that exact same phrase on that theory a in 2014. That phrase is also in Alpha's video.

Yea i noticed that too.

I don't know this guy but there are some others who do that too, I stopped following them because it was starting to become obvious that they weren't the ones coming up with the theories and I already knew what they were going to say because I read it before on a forum elsewhere.

From the top of my head I know Sawyer, Forneverworld and some guy with a Law hat who tend to get 'their' theories from AP forums.

The most annoying thing is that they like to present themselves as big masterminds and how they were able to come up with stuff like that while they've just been browsing through forums like everybody else.

Its annoying as hell. I've made about 50 theories and how many did I create with no assistance whatsoever?.....6 tops. The rest had some kind of help or inspiration even if it was just one sentence mentioned by another person and I always give credit where its do.

Alpha however is calling himself a OP detective when his research schedule is to go to OJ forum, copy, then paste, then act like Einstein.

What's OJ if I may ask?
Oro Jackson forums. Best OP forum I've ever been to.

P.S. Did I lose premium? Was it temporary or something? Cause I never bought one.

Don't worry. I will make a fake youtube account right now, spam his videos with comments exposing him as the fraud he is, and link everyone on youtube to the original theorists on OJ. This fraudulent motherfucker dies today.

I had a feeling that was the case since this guy posts daily/weekly theory videos
He started posting regularly in March. March just so happens to be the month he joined OroJackson and that "Kaido: Emperor of Kano-Kuni" theory he posted in March was taken from my "Wano and Kaidou" theory that was posted 2 days before.

Believe me when I say no theorist can come up with multiple plausible theories on his own and so quickly. Beck26/Ramenboy has a lot of theories he thought of on his own but he had a year to prepare before he started posting. As I said earlier, I have only 6 theories or so out of my 40+ that I managed to do without assistance and those 6 six were done over the course of 4 months.

If you took 2 seconds out of your day to read the description you would find that he did credit it in the second video. You would also see that he claims a sub sent him the idea for the first video. Not saying you are wrong but do try to pick better examples.

I was gonna play devils advocate but i won't just because I understand your personal feelings on the matter. I mean it does suck to have your ideas ripped and not even get credit.

But if he credits it there isnt much you can do unfortunately. I would advise you not to be to hostile about it though and just ask him to credit you guys in the video itself and at least more than just a link. If you have already and he denies you or ignores you, try to find out if he makes money on these videos. If he does, there might be some sort of youtube action you can consider. I'm not sure where fanmade theories fall into regarding copyright especially with youtube, but you should at least speak to a youtube rep about it if you can (assuming he doesn't play nice) the trick lies in him making money and claiming it to be his own content. Maybe you cza be sneaky and post your ideas on to youtube before he gets the chance to steal them, that way you have grounds within youtube itself to make a claim. TBH though I doubt this route will go very far because it is hard enough to proof copyright on youtube without getting into the intellectual property side of piece of fiction that isnt written by you.

If you dont want to go that route then I guess spreading info on the forums is the best way to do it. It seems like you have already made the decision to go this route and in this case i suggest you make a master thread (or {because it may be against the rules to bash people} make a blog post somewhere) of all known examples and perhaps even the pm's between you guys as proof. Then link to it and let us help spread the word to the youtubers as well.

It would actually be really cool if you guys made videos based on your ideas too because as you can see, it is a lot more popular and easier to digest info. Perhaps you could make a summary video and have that on youtube, put it in your threads which contain the more detailed info for those who want to look. But i realize that is a lot of work but this can also give you some edge to keep this from continuing to happen.

In any case, perhaps you should keep us informed here on NB, i think you'll find we will do what we can to help if you give us the tools. Good luck.

Whether he is getting money off "our ideas" or not is not really the concern. Its getting a large fanbase off of someone else's work/content and when the original poster uploads his theory on youtube, he gets bombarded by Alpha fans and being called a plagiarist. A few OJ theorist are going to youtube and they are already experiencing a small backlash.

For me, I'm just one of the representatives of the OJ theorist. We just want to spread the word through forums and youtube videos exposing Alpha as a fraud so not only that the OJ youtubers can stop getting false hate, the normal OJ theorist make post content without it getting "stolen." We are by no means hostile. We are aware that by posting content on a public forum, there will be copycatsbut like I said earlier, its the copycats getting a large fanbase for something they never did while the real guy gets hated on.

Some of us have directly tagged or message Alpha about the matter but got no response.

The only thing with the money is that that copyright really only holds ground if the infringer is making money. So i meant if you went the youtube route, he would have to make money of the video in order for you to get it removed.

The issue of the alpha fanboys attack is another beast and can only be combated by compiling evidence that can be easily redistributed. Unfortunately you will always get hate if you want to expose him though. And like I said before I kinda wanted to play devils advocate but I definitely agree that it is wrong that he gets all the recognition for little to no work.

If Alpha is making money and his videos get taken down, it is a bad idea to do that first. His fans will go berserk. The youtube route, if it comes to that, will have to be done last.

The best way is to spread the word through forums and youtube with the evidence(we have lots of it) and hopefully, he loses subscribers and other youtubers make videos about his fraud. Princeton, AnimeFanTalk and Boris are well aware of the OJ theorist and think we are amazing and are big fans of the theorist I used as an example.

You are right that we will get hate regardless but its better to get hated with the truth than get shitstormed because of fraud and lies.

AceofSpades was the first one that I read that mentioned that Ryokugyu theory, then again he mentions that King of Lightning said it first.
The point is, there aren't many original ideas with these One Piece theories, or anything else for that matter. Everything somebody posts is a rehash of what somebody said before. This guy is more famous, so of course he's easier to spot.
Since you're on the hunt, you should check with the other famous theorists, you might find something, or not.

Yes. All theorist all inspired from one another. It is rare to see a theory that somebody came up with on their own(ramenboy's raftel theory, my broker jack theory, Celestial D. Dragon's Kyros royalty theory etc..). The question is whether they actually do some research and connect dots, or just rearrange what they see somewhere else and add a few tweaks here n' there to make it look different. With a lot of Alpha's theories, there is no research going into it. Just take a theory he sees and either copies it completely or add a few tweaks that doesn't change the theory at all and plays it off like he thought out everything himself. When people tell him that HIS theories are amazing, he says "thank you!" and such showing that he claims everything as his own thoughts. When a original poster shows up, Alpha ignores him but still replies to others.

You can expand upon a theory, or just switch a few words around and its still the same. For another example, my Fujitora-7th Shichibukai theory posted on April 10. It talks about how the 7th gave Fuji the scar, being based off Miyamoto Musashi, and being the reason Fuji wants to destroy the system. Alpha uploaded his on May 8, and the only difference was that he said the 7th used a fire sword to scar Fuji. Its like JimsNerdNation, A little minor tweak on someone else's content and claim it as yours.

I don't watch YT theories, hearing people talk about theories like that annoys the hell out of me. Even more so when you can't say anything back and holding 'discussions' in the comments section there, yeah no. Most of the time they're also way too 'positive' about their theories, which annoys me even more. It happened a few times that someone posted a theory from such a vid and that everyone is like "amazing" and I am "what the hell is this?" because they forsake the basic principles of theory making. So I don't really know about all these people.
Most theories though are of a level that they can easily be made up by different people independently from one another, so crediting others becomes rather stupid there. Though that has as a result that whenever someone does make a very detailed theory, it becomes easy to track it to its source. I probably didn't read most of these theories, but a sentence like "Uranus is the extension of life, vigor, power and prime" is not a sentence that's going be thought of by multiple people by chance, there's a connection there.

it doesnt matter where he gets it, and his not a fraud he never said that it his theory or something
It does matter and by making vids the creator is implying he made them. If he didn't or only partially, he needs to credit the original creator or in the least the source he got it from. That's how a theory of any kind becomes credible.

Saying that he never said it was his, is plainly nonsensical. It's that this is the internet and a manga theory, if this was the real world and a more serious matter, he would be committing plagiarism.
