Ok; i know; hokages came back from their eternal restless sleep and they are currently saving the fodderized asses of alive people. Most people are exited; i know i am just stating my opinions about current situation.

What happened the "new generation surpasses the old one" concept; of course the army should not consists of mini Hashirama's; but their asses should not be saved by hokages like some they are bunch of worthless pile of people (which they became currently); they should be able to save their own asses.

It was bad enough when most of them get saved by Naruto's chakra; and what was the point of giving it away? Most of the alliance have not done sh*t with it; only few accomplished some stuff; most of them would turn into crisps if Naruto did not chakra-cloak their asses.

The most expected things to be seen are hokages power and stuff; but they are zombies! Bunch of zombies who are like images from the past; it won't matter if they are hurt or not or they will die; heck they are already dead! First 2 of them showed a peak of their characteristics like 10 chapters ago; but some people who we have been know for hundreds of chapters are doing little to no things...

What do you think?

i think kishimoto was being lazy about the alliance, just like what he did to the seven sworsmen, kimimaro and a lot of other edos,he just concentrated on advancing the plot towards arriving of the hokages.

still he could have made some chapters way better,if the alliance was the one in the attack in the previous two chapters they wouldn't be considered a complete failure, especially being powered by naruto's chakra, with the number of jutsus that each individual could have and with shikamaru's plans, the fight could have been way better than showing off the alliance running away from only two people.

plus the fact that the alliance is attacking upfront, even a dumbass will know that they should devide the attention of the enemies by dispersing not by standing in one line to be practice targets for madara, proves the laziness of kishi and i call that bad writing and basically trolling of the alliance.

not to mention that the alliance shouldn't itself be so dependant on naruto's defence and could defend themselves using some jutsus, and i doubt all the ones who survived a whole day against zetsus and edos will be complete fodders, they should be able to do a thing.

lets hope the part overlooked by kishimoto will be shown in the anime as fillers(yeah i love fillers, they're the reason i still watch naruto's anime, well not all of them)

Kishimoto stopped caring long ago, he clearly just wants to end this thing with the minimal effort and that means less characters to focus on.

Yeah working on the side characters might seem harder; and everybody lives zombie hokages...

Naruto's chakra saved them from Madara's katon; they should use suiton and stuff to counter; they seem helpless against two mofokas.

Yeah; there is almost little to no strategy or sense in battlezone; their stances just do not make sense...and again; they are too dependent to a single person; i mean 40k people are there but they are all bound to one person-_-

lol there are higher expectations from fillers than its original past chapters...Guess it tells a lot.

Sadly, edo tensei becoming a magical chakra fountain whose binding could be broken is one of the most jarring in a long list of crap devices Kishimoto has pulled out of his behind these last few years.
It's telling that my two favorite battles are both from part one and neither was particularly flashy (well, technically no battles in part one were and that is why I liked this series so much).

I know; my favorite battles are generally from part 1; there is nothing interesting about a flying monster bomb or hyped infinite chakra-ed zombie; Lee vs Gaara is my favorite fight because it had an intesity, usages of different abilities, characters with potential, fragments of ideals; but infact it was just an exam fight.

There is not the same concepts when it comes to current battle (atleast not giving the feelings); and it is in a so much larger scale. I mean; how can a world war which will determine the world's future can be less intense than a basic exam fight? Because the power levels gone mad and the major fighters are either zombies (which do not matter if they "die" or not) or main characters with plot shield. Also there is nothing exiting about to see "who will pull the most haxx sh*t"

Kishimoto sent the the 4 former kage's back because not much was shown about their ability's in their lifetime, this is also a way to shut the mouth's of people who wine and complain about them being pretty much featless, now kishi is about to give them feat's. ;)

It's a massive disappointment. It seems that with every other Edo/Older character, this seems to be the case.

But with the Hokage? Nah, they still wipe the floor with any other generation or Kage.. Like seriously. The Hokage themselves seem to be on a separate level than any other Kage!

Kishi just decided to throw it out, I guess. Atleast he's going back to "Teamwork". I liked the Team work theme he had during Part 1.

What about the alive people and their feats? They are known characters and how much they progressed should be seen.
Hokages feats should be covered in another ways (like cool mini history arcs); and they are edos with infinite chakra; not themselves...

The thing is; i did not get related to the story with hokages; most of the people didn't; they are powerful; yes but this is not something which makes a character appealing. I woud care what would happen to alive known characters and their abilities; hokages just can do haxxed stuff; nothing more.

It was easier to Kishi to cover the battle with opness instead of efforts from alliance.

So... fanservice? Nothing ruins stuff more than the author giving away the creative license to his/her fans.

I am counting on teamwork too...Nothing more could be expected.
And hokages are incredibly haxx compared to kages; it is not even funny.

I know, it actually seems like every other Kage is nothing but... Fodder compared to these guys. The Trollkage, Third Raikage, Muu... These guys should all be able to contend with the Hokage. Same with the current Kage, especially the current Kage....

It just seems like all of them are stacked!
