madara only has long hair in common with the brother but i thought of this stuff too. hagos bros staff is different from mads who has half of hagos. obito has other. we'll have to see if we get a close up of the bro.
as for obito being sage i dunno. they had the same horns but thats it. im not quite clear on the different looks yet.
obito did give sasuke the eyes for the elder son and naruto the bijuu for younger. that may be a paralell for sage. plus hes entrusting everything to the younger naruto on his deathbed too.

Definitely agree with Obito representing the Sage, especially given recent chapters.

Naruto (Ashura) taught Obito that cooperation and support of others is true power, in which Obito is now entrusting both his Will and the Bijuu to Naruto, the Younger Son.

If indeed this is the case:

Naruto - Ashura
Sasuke - Indra
Madara - Sages Brother
Sage - Decided not to reincarnate so he could see where ninshuu ends up.

Is there a limit who can keep their chakra from dissipating after they die? Would seem to me that the sages mother would ultimately be able to become a reincarnation in her own right. This series has emphasized the use of team work particularly in 3-man teams. Could Sakura or a different female shinobi we have seen be the reincarnation of the sage's mother.
