I agree. My standards as of the moment are "how would these guys do in a fight against Madara?" and sadly, Kitsuchi, Temari, Darui, and Suigetsu are fodder.

I think that it made more sense in the old days of NV to make the actual strongest person in the village its Kage, the top dog if you want, but now this job implies other responsibilities than just physically defending the village (especially if there are peaceful times ahead of them). So it's not necessary to make the strongest mountain busting ninja Kage. Plus Tsunade is primarily a medic with her unique brand of defending everyone when needed, but she doesn't spit meteors.
