A name is just a title. Being called Naruto Uzumaki or Naruto Namikaze wouldn't change the fact that he has Uzumaki blood in him. That's how he was able to house Kurama and inherit Ashura's chakra, mind you.

Just as Bolt and Hima being called "Uzumaki" Doesn't mean they don't have Hyuga blood, or Salad being called "Uchiha" doesn't mean she doesn't have fodder blood.
